I've been here for a few events, but it's an amazing venue for any occasion. It has a very relaxed feel to it and has lots of art to wander around and look at if you need a break! I went during an exhibition of high school art and it's incredible to see the talent in the local area.

This museum is really quite charming and has some great exhibits on display. It's a shame though, because the overall museum is lacking in making your visit an experience. There's no real flow that naturally keeps you moving through the entire museum (let alone the gift shop). It's a shame they don't have a cafe on site to influence you to stop and maybe strike up a discussion on the exhibits - I feel like this would help make your visit an experience you'd remember more and come back again for.

Took my kids to guppy group and they loved it! I loved it too. Story time, toys and dress up to play with, and a painting project. There were plenty of staff who were all very kind and helpful. We will definitely come back.

I've been wanting to check this place out since I moved here, and I finally took the opportunity. I'm soooo glad I did!!! Not only was it free, but I found something I LOVED in almost every single room I walked in. I'm not really the artsy type either, so that's saying something! Such a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. I only made it to 2 of the 3 floors, so I will definitely be going back. The building itself is beautiful as well. Don't let this little gem pass you by!!!!!

Was here working on TV production for Costner's new series "Yellowstone". This is just one of the reasons to come and see this amazing little town that time seems to have forgotten. The museum is amazing as some really well known artists have come from or now live in the Springville area. So the museum has some really impressive works for such a small town area.
Great place to take children, or just to go and ponder. Also, they offer the museum for receptions including weddings and it is a really beautiful venue.

I absolutely love this place. First of all, it's free. So, anytime I can see good art for free, it's a bonus. The space is beautiful, and the artwork is inspiring, uplifting, and incredible on many levels. They have many juried shows. They have a wonderful permanent collection of art works by a wide range of artists. If you are looking for a place to host a reception, this would be a lovely location for any special event. Springville Art Museum is a phenomenal gem in a small town. If you have the opportunity to visit it you will be fed with more than just eye candy. You will be nourished by wonderful, beautiful, soul-stirring works of art.

The staff is super friendly. A lot of the art is local. It’s a good value since it’s free. I think people should definitely check out this museum and experience its uniqueness, but if you want to go somewhere for free with more bells & whistles (and more famous artists) I would recommend the MOA at BYU.

Absolutely beautiful! Friendly staff. Wonderful place for an event! Weddings, luncheons, class reunion, inside or outside, depending on the weather. The exhibits are wonderful and well done. Great place to visit!

We went here this past summer for the first time and loved our experience. The staff that greeted us provided great information to us about the museum and the different displays they currently had. The gardens and statues outside were so enjoyable. It’s great that it’s free and still high quality.

This place is a little gem. My family and I were greeted by a friendly woman behind the desk. I came to check out the Western exhibit. There was both quantity and quality at the museum. A great place to check out

Very quiet and peaceful and serene. The bonus was that I got some wonderful spiritual feel goods while visiting the gardens and it was a pleasure to discover it while I was working.

This place is a gem! The building itself is a work of art! There are so many amazing things to see here; expect to take at least 3 hours if you really want to soak it all in. And go on a sunny day because the outdoor sculpture garden is the best part! We went on a warm day and out there really felt like a sanctuary miles away in some small Italian town! So beautiful. I wanted to stay forever. The museum is by donation but they do only take cash, so be sure to bring some! I felt so bad that I didn't have any on me because it is definitely worth a donation! Love this place.

This museum is an absolute treasure. They add so much to our Utah county community. I love the educational outreach program and all the different art shows. I hate leaving. Don't forget the outside sculpture garden. It's lovely, a perfect spot for a reception.

One of the true undiscovered gems in Utah, this art museum has great revolving art exhibits, a fantastic permanent collection, and one of the greatest Russian impressionism collections probably in the country and maybe in the world. And it's free. And the building itself is magnificent. Who knew?!

Had to laugh at the cranky review. It was probably written anonymously by the "artist" who was rejected for submission. He'd painted a 20" X 20" canvas in flat cobalt blue, and painted a circle dead center in slick red. When he came to pick it up, he threw a fit at Vern Swanson, the curator at the time, for not knowing "true art!" Then he made the mistake of asking all present if they liked his "work" and we all told him the truth. He stormed out so fast, he didn't notice his "price tag" had fallen off. I picked it up. He was asking $20,000 for his "masterpiece."
While it is true art is subjective, SMA has some of the finest judges, jurors and buyers in the American West. Come and see for yourself the many feasts offered here for your eyes, heart and soul.response / report this review -

The first time we visited the Springville Museum of Art we came as tourists. Now that we live in the city we are able to visit often. We brought our children and now our grandchildren for their first experience with visual fine art. It is seldom crowded (except for special events) which allows visitors of all ages time to really enjoy the art. We have attended weddings held inside the building and outside in the sculpture garden and they are some of the most beautiful venues. This is the best museum for a first visit and many more.
