My daughter plays basketball here! It’s an awesome place. And they have concessions.
The facility is very nice. It's much better than the soccer dome's current state. That said, the recent enactment of player ID cards has left a bitter taste in my mouth, especially since they require us pay for what is essentially a laminated piece of paper. The bar code doesn't even resolve to anything useful. I understand the need to ID players to make sure they're permitted, but either use drivers licenses, or don't make us pay for them. Alternatively, include it in the price of admission.
Superb community center in Independence, Missouri. They have 2 basketball courts, 2 soccer fields, meeting rooms, coffee shop and refreshment stands. Staff is great
Rented practice space for 2 weeks for my Sporting Lee's Summit 5th/6th grade girls team until we could practice outdoors. They loved it. Facility is great. Staff is super helpful. Atmosphere was tremendous for my team. They loved watching all the other teams practice to pump themselves up. Highly recommend is place.
This place is a hidden surprise. The facility has a gym, wedding Boutique, and 2 soccer fields. We were there for volleyball tournament's and it had a nice coffee shop but the best I'd the inside bar were you can watch the TV and order food. The pizza is made to order and is awesome!! Great prices and a friendly atmosphere!!
Great place for indoor sports activities. Parking is limited.
Nice facility. Good amenities and good choices of activities
Terrible service. Terrible management. Cynthia who schedules the birthday parties is a liar and extremely rude and condescending. Not only did her staff state their feelings towards her but also people I’ve talked to who have dealt with her on a business level.
Do not schedule a birthday party there. The “tree house room” is really a beige 15x15 yoga studio with a tree branch out the window and she thinks that’s considered a “tree house” even though on their website it shows pictures of a very cute tree house room and that’s what I was told. I was getting. So to my surprise when I show up for my sons birthday party that room no longer exists and she felt no need to tell me that. The room had nothing but 2 tables in it, and 10 chairs. This place is ran so poorly. They told me my son would be able to play flag football. Except there’s no footballs. and again felt no need to tell me that. Her poor staff got the wrath of me and I feel for them because It’s really not their fault. On top of multiple other things going wrong and things not being there that I was told would be.
She tried charging my card 4 separate times.
Terrible place. Terrible management.
We enjoyed today very much .We will be at Church service thank you
They have new turf on both soccer fields making game play much safer, and enjoyable. It's like running on clouds. Kevin runs the place and is a God. Everything is well maintained, the refs are veterans and know the players well. Several clean restrooms available, several full (kids size) basketball courts, a bar with a neat glass/plastic view onto one of the fields, upstairs indoor soccer arena used for Dinotots kids soccer clinic, arcade games, concession stand and more. This place rocks.
The staff is awesome and friendly. I love this place, just a great sport facility.
We signed our son up for the indoor soccer league. 1. We didn't receive the size uniform we ordered, even after asking for the correct size he ended up with an adult medium shirt and an adult small short. We ordered and paid for youth XL.
2. There were no coaches so they hired a soccer player from Avila. He was nice, but there was no actual soccer instruction during the practices, instead the kids team around and played Amoeba tag for 35 minutes. Because the indoor league is on a half size field, we figured a focus would be on training for detail and offensive working. Nope.
3. The coach was hired too manage two teams. For practices this was fine, however, for games he literally had to stand between the two fields and watch each one for a few minutes at a time, trying to sub out kids. Very little instruction here as a result.
4. The facility was dirty and congested. The bathrooms were disgusting, every week we used them, so it wasn't a random occurrence. The walkways were not clear and on a couple occasions I saw a lady with a walker and another in a wheel chair struggle to get from the front of the building back to the soccer area.
I would not recommend the facility or the specific soccer league to people I know. In fact, on a few occasions family came to watch and were just as frustrated as we were.
Great place! Good staff and great equipment set up.
Great place! Indoor and outdoor style field for soccer games. A great little bar to enjoy after your game.
