Great service! Busy due to Hurricane Irma..but quick with a to go order! Great selection of sauces! Friendly staff & good location! Really good change of pace from seafood which is local favorite!

Very confused about all the positive reviews. Brisket was pretty with nice smoke ring, but dry, flavorless and inedible. Pulled pork was tolerable as was Brunswick stew. Fries were cold, hard, and nasty. They left the fried green beans and fries out of my wife's salad. They use a deliberately tiny building to force a line outside for psychological effect. All the reviews can't be wrong. I guess they just had a bad day. VERY disappointed.

Awesome and fun atmosphere! Food even better, Grady suggested the Brunswick stew, two thumbs up! Also tried ribs, brisket and turkey, hard to pick a favorite. Plus collard greens and hoppin' john. Left full and happy! Check out the smokers and new food truck in the back :)

I highly recommend Southern Soul. Reading the other reviews, I think we got lucky and did not have to wait in line. The girl at the front (Sara) was very helpful with explaining the menu and making recommendations. Between the four of us we had ribs, brisket, the Ruben, mac n cheese, beans, Brunswick stew, okra and fries. I did try a little of everything and all was great. Oh, and the sauces.awesome!

Great place to stop for some BBQ! the meat was great, multiple sauces to choose from, the fries were AMAZING! My only complaint is that they need to use some sort of bun for the sandwiches instead of plain sliced bread.

I flew in to the airport across the road for training looking for somewhere good to eat. My instructor recommended this place and I have to say I was blown away. This is what people envision when they think of southern barbecue. I will definitely be back.

If you are looking for the best BBQ..You need to put this place on your to do list if you're any where near Brunswick..it's so awesome we drive from Amelia island just to eat.. and of course take some home..brisket burnt ends..pulled pork..smoked turkey breast..fried green beans..OMG..FRIED GREEN BEANS..hand cut fries..collard greens make you want to dancejust go..it's WELL worth it..more than likely to be packed and a line but they move it quickly..oh yeah Diners Drive Ends and Dives.. absolutely loved itDAWG FAMILY

Lived up to all the hype. Was really good. Had a short line to order that moved quickly. Everything we had was delicious. Loved the wings and the Cuban sandwich. Staff was very friendly.

The food is okay for my native home. It's not a place that I would definitely make it a point to go to each time that I'm there. My father's BBQ is way better. Majority of men in my family Barbecue is way better. So but it's a nice place to go to. It's very crowded but they're very fast and delivering the food to the people.

Great pulled pork with many sauce options. My wife LOVED the fried green beans. Kids menu had very good chicken tenders. Very windy outside, but great atmosphere. Kind of weird how to get there, through the roundabout then a u-turn But worth it!

A nice BBQ joint that sports the usual BBQ favorites. The amount of food for the price is average and perhaps not enough. The ribs are great tasting but do not expect the "to die for" mentality. It is a great place to swing by none the less with happy workers within.

This is a great BBQ spot. The pork was tender. Someone in my party ordered the brisket and was pleased. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the chicken, a bit disappointing. I really enjoyed the spicy mustard, if there was a carry on acceptable size, I would've bought it. Despite there being a line every time, we never had to wait long for our food.

Absolutely the best meats. Wonderful, funky atmosphere. Fried okra. Mac and cheese. Baked beans. Can't say enough about the sides. All visitors must stop for a great rib or pork sandwich. Who knows, you may share a table with a famous golfer while you're eating.
