Good overnight stay. One of the few RV parks in Yuma area which accept -55 and campervans.
Larger spots than most. Friendly folks. Quieter than next to the highway.
I really dig this place! Low key and chill! Many RV parks have all kinds of extra fees and rules like you’re in prison or grade school. Not this place! Price is competitive and staff is very friendly!
It can be hard to find a good campground in the Yuma area if your'e under 55, have a pit bull mix dog, don't want to be crowded, and don't want to pay a fortune. Southern Mesa was a great option for us. The sites in the back (we were in #154) were nice because it wasn't crowded and you aren't on top of your neighbors. It's much more crowded up front and we don't like that. Nice open area in the back to walk dogs. The front office staff was nice and accommodating, even allowing us to have some packages shipped to their location for us. It is far away from town though in the middle of the farm fields, so be ready to drive 15 minutes to get to anything. Phone reception was a bit spotty. I'd recommend this place and stay here again.
Clean bathroom, showers, laundry and pool. Just a nice place to be. We came for 2 nights and stayed for a month! That says it all.
Better than expected. Older park with no big amenities. If you like quiet, you have quiet here. You may hear an occasional chicken or a dove which is much better than traffic. The Landry room, and restrooms are nice. If you are looking for an up scaled RV resort that is close to town for shopping and entertainment, this isn't for you. If you don't mind a little dust, then come check it out.
The friendliest park we have ever been too. Would definitely be back.people actually acknowledge you here. We stayed for a wk on passport America
We were there for two months last year and going back this year nice and friendly park
