Great place to go shoot your guns. Very nice group camping area also.
Friendly staff with a lot of knowledge of the area, Weather your into boating, fishing, photography or hiking plus so many other outdoor activities. Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center sits on 6400 acres.
Absolutely loved the hiking trails.
Loved taking a field trip here. Not a lot of accessibility. Really fun. The only big problem I had was fishing. The bait we were given were old hot dogs that didn't stay on the hook.
Excellent out door experience.
Great trails that are well marked and well maintained. Beautiful place to visit. Great lakes with fishing for every age.
My daughter and I attended a seminar in Bears in Georgia. it was very informative and our speaker was excellent. there were coloring sheets for kids and real skulls, skins and a real taxidermy bear for reference.
I have used the horse trails here for two years and always been pleased with how well maintained and barefoot friendly they are. The horse trails are well marked and it is fairly easy to learn from the website which days are hunting days so that you do not ride when people are hunting.
This has to be one of the best places to visit in Georgia. We have lived in Georgia only 33 years and are proud to say that we can be at C.E.W.C. in about 25 minutes. We have attended many functions in the banquet hall, walked some trails, did alot of sightseeing, but my favorite place is the range. It has to be one of the best in the S.E. great design, the staff does a great job maintaining the range, making sure that everyone is trained and safety first is number 1. Get your kids out from in front of the tv, load up the car and head for the outdoors. Pack a lunch ,You won't be sorry.
