Gentleman that cleaned car was very professional. Pointed out that the car wash had pulled away some of my trim and the manager had employees use super glue to try and fix it but didn't but did get super glue on my paint. The manager was very unprofessional. Rude. Said they didn't fix loose trim. New car!!!. Really. Asked for his boss. Through pen and paper to me to write down what happened. Can't believe manager was so unprofessional. Could have been a simple fix but he had to make situation alot worse. Will be talking to upper management and hopefully they have better ethics.

Fast and friendly service. Sometimes it can be real busy and you may have to wait in line a few minutes but usually they are fast.

Great service go at least once a week. Good price for a great wash. Take both work and personal truck and always look amazing once they are finished.

I had always been pleased with them in the past. Took my wife's car in recently for a wash and interior cleaning. There was a large scratch on the car when it was returned and the front was still so bug splattered I had to ask if it has been washed yet when I picked it up. I will not be using them again.

Quick service and decent pricing. Wash misses the the nook and crannies but the majority of the car surfaces get cleaned well.

They're always running a special. The car wash is decent but doesn't really get hard mud off and the employees don't seem like they really care.

Having lived in Christiansburg for 7 years I either washed my car or took it to the do it yourself car washes around town. A friend of mine told me about Southern Classic and one day decided to treat myself to their VIP wash. All I can say is "Wow" They do a great job and take their time. Not hurried or sloppy. They clean the car inside and out and they are super friendly as well. The next time I will get the "Red carpet treatment"

Southern Classic Soft Cloth Auto Wash will provide you with a sufficient car wash for a somewhat affordable price. Some points of the service are good while others could use some work, but overall you can expect to drive away with a decently cleaned car. I visited the auto wash on Easter of 2017. I'm a Virginia Tech student who cares very, very much about his car. I am extremely particular about how it is washed, and was limited only to local car wash locations as residential students at Virginia Tech do not have free hose access to wash their cars themselves. I chose Southern Classic Soft Cloth Auto Wash because of its name, hoping that I would be able to receive a thorough, careful wash as "Soft Cloth Auto Wash" implies. Instead, I found it to be a general drive-thru car wash with some soft cloth (microfiber) drying at the end. If you pay for their more expensive packages, you do technically get a soft cloth wash, but just on your windows.
When I first pulled up, I was immediately met with service, which I appreciate. The directions for entering the drive-thru portion were a little unclear, but I was in and situated quickly nonetheless. They first go over your car with a powerwashing rinser, then lather it up with soapy microfiber washmits on sticks; I am incredulous as to how well the dirt from the previous customer is removed from the brushes, but I was unable to find any severe scratching in the areas they covered. I felt that the way they went over the car with the wash sticks was a little heavy handed, but, like I said, I didn't see anything severe. This is the second time I've ever gone to an auto wash as I always wash my own car, so believe me when I say that I scanned over every inch of my car after the wash.
Off you go through your standard drive-thru machine-wash system. There's no way of assuring if the roller brushes aren't slinging dirt from the day's worth of customers onto your car. My car is a little wider than most, and I was at first worried that my mirrors would get beat up by the frame of the washing system, but they weren't, it was just a little close. When I got to the other end there's four to seven employees who will wipe off the remaining water on your vehicle with microfiber cloths. I again cannot attest to the cleanliness of the cloths; I suppose you just pray that they aren't rubbing hardened dirt all of your paint.
As part of my package, the interior was vacuumed and all of my glass was cleaned. Prior to visiting, my floor mats were quite dirty and, as a Virginia Tech student, there isn't really anywhere to go to wash them yourself. Southern Classic's floor mat machine made them absolutely spotless; I was very impressed. The windows were wiped down decently well and there were water spots on the entire lower quarter of my rear window which I had to go back myself and get off. The dashboard was cleaned quite well. My car was vacuumed out pretty well, some spots missed here or there, probably because of the size and shape of the vacuum's head so no complaints. One employee used the liquid for cleaning the glass on the inner sill of my car; after leaving the wash I immediately wiped it down again with a wet microfiber cloth and then with a Meguiar's product meant for exterior cleaning. Window wash is not meant for cars, and you'd think an auto wash would know this. It's very unlikely that the window wash would've caused any real damage to my paint, but I'm not one for taking chances, especially when it comes to my car.
All in all, Southern Classic Soft Cloth Auto Wash did the job decently well. I left with a clean exterior, clean tires, clean floor mats, clean glass, and a clean dashboard for $17. Between washing the car myself and returning, I'd probably wash the car myself as I would then be assured of the care being taken with my car. If they offered to let me use their hose to wash my car myself for $10, I would've gone with that instead.response / report this review -
