  South Shore Animal Hospital is by far the best Veterinarian Office I have ever gone to. Dr. Forbes and her amazing staff have always provided the best care and treatment for my two Pugs. If you're looking for the best Veterinarian in Wellington Florida I highly recommend Dr. Forbes at South Shore Animal Hospital.

  We use to see Dr Forbes in a BOCA Raton office. When she left there I was devistated and I did not know where to find her. My lab mix was diagnosed with heart worm. I again was devistated . I used my resources and found Dr Forbes. Thank goodness she treated my dog as if it was her own, unfortunately the treatment did not work but Dr Forbes would not give up. We started treating my dog again and we are in the middle of treatment and we are not giving up. I am a pest to the office with all my questions but the staff is always pleasant and very helpful. I would suggest going and seeing Dr Forbes for any of your pet needs. I travel from BOCA and I would travel further if I had to just to see her. She is the BEST.

  We could not be more pleased with Dr. Forbes and her staff. They have been there so many times no matter when we needed an appointment. We left a large vet's office due to out pets (kids) were just a number and we could never get out of the office for under $200. Well we decided to go to a smaller office and we could not be more thrilled with South Shore. She allows us to bring all of our animals in at once for check up's and only charges for one office visit. We never had that anywhere else.
  Dr Forbes listens to you and really works with you and your pet to figure out what is going on and make suggestions. He Dr who covers when she is off is also wonderful.
  Any time I have asked for prices the staff always would advise me. Before any work was done on my babies they always would let us know the price.
  We are so thankful that our babies have Dr Forbes and her staff.

  Dr. Forbes is certainly the best veterinarian we have used-very bright, caring, and innovative. And responsive! Staff is great and takes the time to pay attention to your animals' needs. Very helpful in scheduling appointments around my hours-highly recommend this office!

  I took my dog here for a follow-up visit. I was informed by the vet tech on his last visit, I would not be charged for a "re-check." After the follow-up, they charged me $40 dollars for eye drops they administered outside of the exam room. I was not aware they gave him eye drops, let alone I would be charged for it. At the very least, their staff needs to do a better job of informing customers of the costs ahead of time, especially since I was told there would be no charge. After reading other reviews on yelp, they are consistent with not being upfront about their prices. I had considered having Dr. Forbes as my vet for my other dog. After this experience, I will be going to another vet.

  I would recommend Dr Forbes to everyone. She is truly a compassionate and intelligent woman who runs a very fair business. I have had pets/ dogs for 20 years and Karen and her staff are the best I have ever had. I travel an hour passing others by for their exceptional service.
