Great place if you want to go for a first dive. Everyone is very friendly and will teach you as much as possible so that you can enjoy your open ocean dive like you're supposed to. And if you're stressed out like one of my diving buddies, the instructor will be next to you at all times to help you along the way and make you feel safe. Joe was really fun, and I hope to come back soon for an open ocean certification!

We contacted South Beach Dive an Surf Shop last minute to arrange Scuba certification. They went out of their way to accommodate us. We were very pleasantly surprised. We ended up not taking the certification - due to personal reasons - but are looking forward to work with those guys in the future.

Went on speagle grove dive and the boat crew was extremely rude and unprofessional. The employees in the actual dive shop were very helpful and the actual wreck dive itself was great (80ft of vis & diverse wildlife), but the boat crew was so rude that it just ruined the entire trip. You could not pay me to go on another charter with them, complete waste of time and money. I have been on hundreds of dive charters all over the world and have never seen anything like it.

Eric helped my friends and I choose our scuba gear. I checked some online alternatives prior to my visit and the prices they have at the South Beach shop are very reasonable, especially for a business in SoBe. I really liked how Eric explained to us very patiently all aspects of the gear and helped us decide. We got PADI open water certification with Arturo as an instructor. Arturo was the best instructor we could ever had, we were so lucky to have him. He's very professional and knowledgeable and took good care of every single one of us (and we were a group of 7 guys!). If I go for a deeper PADI course I'll definitely choose Arturo again.

If you wanna dive with the team A divers . here where you have to go i did my dive master course with them and they offered me free fun dives less than one year ago.. they are professional, well organized and funny team.

Brother-in-law and I went to get our open water diver certificate. Arturo was our instructor, and he did an amazing job! He is the best scuba instructor I've ever had! Highly recommend for all divers. Ask for Arturo.

By far the best dive shop I have ever interacted with. They were extremely knowledgeable about the area, gear and really any other underwater matter. Gear was new and clean, dive shop centrally located and fully loaded. Staff was the best part, Joe and Alvarez were on the dive and couldn't have asked for a better experience. They expertly handled people of different levels and languages making sure we were all on the same page before we got in the water. Looking forward to my next trip down to Miami so I can do another dive with them!

Would highly recommend south beach dive and surf. The staff are brilliant; fun, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Great advice given to buy some gear and went off diving with them two days in a row. As a rookie diver, I was nervous to take the plunge of diving away from my club in Ireland. From the minute I walked into the shop I felt at ease. I had guides on both days Mauricio and Bruce, they were both fab and very funny, I couldn't have been safer or happier . They explained everything and gave me great advice and I felt so comfortable with them. I really couldn't say enough about everyone. The boat and underwater scenery was out of this world, very safe and welcoming. Thanks to all at south beach dive and surf, hopefully will be back soon, Berni from Eire x.
