When I prioritize the reasons that today I am 240 days sober!! I list God first & Soledad 2nd! & That is an absolute fact. My initial move to a sober living in California did not include Soledad but how grateful i am that God had a different plan. From the moment I was picked up at the airport I knew I was in the right place. The therapists, administrative staff, & house & day managers are absolutely amazing & felt more like FAMILY than employees of Soledad & now I am also grateful to Soledad because I am an employee as well!! The support I received whether it was therapeutic, Drs appointments, insurance or Short term disability assistance was phenomenal & readily given. I always FELT KELLY MATTERED which is something we don't feel from the world while on active addiction. I will end with this: if you have reached the point of Desperation due to your addiction & are ready to start living a healthy life as we were all meant to then SOLEDAD Treatment is exactly who & where you should be. GOD BLESS SOLEDAD & THE STAFF

After 70 days of treatment from my previous treatment center, I decided to come to Soledad House. Let me tell you best decision I ever made in a lifetime. What Soledad has instilled in me are things I will always carry in my recovery. The staff, counselors, doctors and admin make this place what it is. The homes are beautiful and the support I have received from the girls at this program will last a lifetime. I am almost 6 months sober now and owe it to this place. They also offer aftercare, which I am going to, and sober living as well. I dont think I would have come as far as I am now in my recovery if it was not for Soledad House. If you are ready for chance of a life changing experience , Soledad House is the place for you. THANK YOU SOLEDAD!

When people ask me what the difference is between Soledad and other programs, I always say this program is built with knowledge and experience tailored around the singularity of every client. There is respect, autonomy, acceptance and at the same time genuine encouragement. It is a real healing place where everyone works for the same goal. It is a place that transforms and empowers women to be the best version of themselves. I wish a place like Soledad was known around more than it is because it safe lives and works.
I have been doing my internship at Soledad house and I honestly feel blessed. I have been learning how to become the counselor I want to be, encouraging me to challenge myself to be a support and educated coach for our clients. The communication between all the staff is constant and supportive to facilitating the success of this program for each of our clients. The program is built for the client to have the possibility to learn about themselves while guided by professionals and give them the right tools for lifetime sobriety. I am lucky to be able to be at service and learning in a place like Soledad house.response / report this review -

Words cannot express how much Soledad has done for me. It gave me sanctuary after rehab. I was so scared of having nowhere to go after I got out, but thankfully I was recommended Soledad. They offered me counselors and employees that I could lean on for help every step of the way. I was like a lost little puppy when I first got there, but instantly was taken in with loving open arms. I’ve never felt so safe in my life. That’s something no amount of money could ever buy. Not only did I find a path towards sobriety, I found lifelong friendships with so many strong women. I never thought I would find that in a million years. I’m immensely grateful to still be apart of this program for the aftercare portion; where I still have access to groups and appointments with my case manager. Since being here, I know I don’t have to get through sobriety alone. It’s quite the opposite actually, I get to be surrounded by likeminded people with the same goal who all have so much love in their hearts. Soledad saved my life, and any woman who is in need of help I would always recommend Soledad. This is a place where every single person cares genuinely and lovingly, this is more than just a business. It’s a home for some many of us that we never had.

Soledad saved my life and it can save yours too.
I am sitting here today, six months sober, with a breathtaking group of friends and community, a beautiful home, and a heart FULL of gratitude.
These are things I knew for a fact I could never have in my lifetime. I really never dreamed I could have these opportunities and this unconditional love for myself but Soledad compassionately guided me through all the steps I needed to become the confident, sober, and caring person I am today.
The staff at Soledad make sure you know that you are safe and there is always someone to talk to. They take your needs and thoughts seriously and do all they can to make you comfortable. This is not a program that is just a place to stay sober at for a few months. Soledad works hard to give you the tools you need to work through your trauma and hardships and gives you a secure space surrounded by loving women to heal. I know sometimes this stuff sounds cheesy but I am here to tell you it is the real deal!
I now have a life worth living, a group of loving best friends (folks I went through Soledad with), a job that fulfills me, a clear and creative mind, an exciting semester of college ahead of me, and joyous curiosity for what is next in life, and this is all made possible by the outstanding recovery program that is Soledad House.
There are no words that can accurately describe my gratitude for Soledad… the home where I got myself back.response / report this review
