Visited near this area so the boyfriend could fish. It was windy but beautiful as always. Saw lots of Kokanee and Deer in the area. Love visiting Strawberry, especially Soldier Creek area.

This is a fairly quiet area, not a lot of people go out this way compared to other portions of Strawberry Reservoir. The views are great, and you can get some nice images of the dam from not too far from here. During the winter there's great access to the ice here, typically the road is paved up to this point but not beyond this point.
