Went here because Bud Kennedy from Fort Worth Star Telegram said they had the best chicken fried steak in the region. If by "region" Bud meant a 2 block radius, then I might believe it. Either Bud seared off his taste buds critiquing Indian food prior to his visit, or Soda Springs changed the CFS. It tasted a step above the frozen stuff you get at Grandy's. It wasnt awful, I did eat it all, but as far as local restaurant CFS, it was sub par. The beans and fries were delicious though! The BBQ looked and smelled delicious! Should have gotten that. Will go back to try it.

I have a personal history with the Lewis family. However, if i did not like the food i would not eat there. That being said, i like the food i like the decor i like the music and i like the staff. Always felt welcome here. Everyone treated like family.

Lewis family are some of the best folks I know. Always a smile and a thank you for coming in to eat. BBQ/Catfish is good and all the old stuff that lines the walls is awesome too.

My husband and I have been visiting from out of state and were trying to find some place to eat. We found this place online so we decided to check it out. We are so glad that we did. The food was delicious and more than we could eat. The wait staff was most accommodating and friendly. My husband and I will definitely be visiting them again on our next trip out.

I was craving some good ribs, I bought a pound of ribs, pint of coleslaw and a pint of potato salad. The slaw and potato salad were average, no complaints. The ribs were absolutely the worst experience I've ever had, full of fat, gristle, and almost no meat. I don't treat myself to ribs very often and expect sooooo much more! Two thumbs down
