Snooze has been on my brunch list for a long time, and I finally woke up early enough to take advantage of their delicious food and avoid their reputation for long waits. The service was great and I loved all the superhero costumes and onesie PJ's that most of the staff were wearing.
The food did not disappoint even after all the hype I've heard about Snooze. Their menu is absolutely jammed packed with delicious options, which made narrowing down options highly stressful. Ultimately, I'm happy I took advantage of their Eggs Benny Duo option, which allowed me to combine two different Egg Benny choices into one plate. Both the Eggs & Steak as well as Eggs & Green Chili Pulled Pork were maybe a tad gluttonous on my end, but both highly satisfying in their own way. So if you are looking for multiple varieties of Eggs Benny and can't make up your mind, then Snooze has got you covered.
Beyond the Eggs Benny, their pancakes are pretty spectacular. Similarly they offer an option for those with difficulty making up your mind, and you can get a pancake flight! I couldn't have been happier with a flight including their sweet potato, pineapple upside down pancakes, and thier espresso (pancake of the day). One last dish I gotta share is the Breakfast Pot Pie. That thing is so flavorful and the pastry was perfectly fluffy. That meal allows you to have your egg served anyway you want on top. I highly recommend Snooze for those in and around Boulder and looking for great brunch. Just be prepared to arrive early or endure a real long wait.
I genuinely enjoyed my time here. It's a popular place to eat not to eat breakfast. They've taken traditional breakfast platters and turned them on its head. The pineapple upside down pancakes were fantastic. The silverware was a little funky for me. It's expensive flatware. And I really don't appreciate Boulder passing that stupid soda tax. It's making ordering drinks a burden and makes me really not want to eat or drink there.
Just like every other Snooze, AWESOME! I always have to order a little extra because everything is great. I always say that I don't like pancakes, but I love theirs. My only issue is that I wish they would build larger restaurants so we wouldn't have to wait an hour or longer some times. Also a second shift to be open from midnight to their normal opening time would be nice!
It actually lived up to the hype. We got there at 8:30 am in a Saturday and had to wait 30 minutes for a table of four, not bad. I ordered the breakfast pot pie and it was awesome. My daughter loved the chocolate chip pancakes and a friend got a blueberry Danish pancake that was good but rich. Service was surprisingly good for how busy the place is. We will definitely be returning.
Their brunch was amazing. I couldn't decide which version of Eggs Benedict to have, but thankfully they have the option to get two half orders (Benny Duo)! I ordered the Bella! Bella! Benny and the Chili Verde Benedict. Both were amazing.
The drink selection was also great. I order the Boss Hog Bloody Mary, as well as the Bangkok Bloody Mary. Both delicious. I tried a sip of the Bacon and Eggs cocktail and love that.
Overall, it was a great experience with attentive wait staff!
I love this place!! We take family and friends here every single time they are in town always a delight!! Food and service is great!! When i was a server at late night bar places this was the one place i would recommend that people need to eat at in boulder if here for a vacation.
The wait was long because it’s so popular, but the complimentary coffee helped pass the time! The food was delicious and our waiter was awesome! Also say yes to the jam it was a nice treat on some toast! It was worth the wait!
I've eaten at Snooze in Denver and the food and service were spectacular. Unfortunately The only thing remarkable about Snooze Boulder was the appalling lack of polite engagement at the counter upon our arrival. We were not greeted, then told it would be a 20-35min wait on a Wednesday morning at 10am, while looking at 4 empty tables. The couple in front of us was seated immediately at a setup that was 2 tables and 4 chairs. This could have easily been converted to 2-2 tops in accommodation of the "lengthy" wait. It was suggested that we go to a nearby coffee shop to wait, what kind of hostess suggests that you leave to get coffee somewhere else? We took the suggestion, eagerly awaiting our text. I love a good breakfast so I'm willing to wait. Upon finishing our coffee, after patiently waiting, we returned to see how close we were to being seated. Her response was, "oh I already took you off of the list" Snooze is great, the food is great, the service is usually great. Today was a bad day for the unnamed hostess.
My stud husband and I visited Snooze on Pearl Street for the first time this past Tuesday morning. We were delighted with our experience. It started with our friendly, informative and generous waiter, Nate. We were able to do a three-pancake sampler of our choosing. OUTSTANDING AND DELICIOUS! There is a reason they are known for their pancakes. I ordered the breakfast burrito, and my husband had the corn-beef hash. Yummy on both. We also had Bloody Mary's - super tasty! Highly recommend!!!!!!! We will return, and bring friends and family here for sure!
Came here for brunch. Didn't take too long to get seated. Our waiter was a treat. We explained how we were from out of town and asked for his recommendations/local favorites. He got us a flight of 3 different pancakes to try as an appetizer (on the house). They were all delicious - although the pineapple upside cake pancake was the standout of the three. We each went with his recommendations for our meals, both of which were great. I got the Snooze classic with sausage, and my wife got the Sandwich I Am. The food was fresh, fast, and delicious. Will be back next time we're in the area!
Love Snooze! It has an hour+ wait on weekends for a reason - it's delicious. They will text you when your table is ready, so you can put your name in and take a stroll down Pearl St while you wait. Plus, they have free coffee while you wait. I find the wait is generally short or nonexistent if you get there by 9am on weekends.
The benedicts are all awesome, as are the pancakes. Basically everything is delicious, actually.
Amazing eggs Benedict! I was able to order two different kinds which was perfect! Cute decorations and nice booths. Their menu is nice with a lot of options! They have indoor and outdoor seating. We had to wait but were able to walk around the shops nearby and they texted us when the table was ready! I will definitely come back here!
My daughter brought me here on my first day in Colorado, and what a great choice! The decor is really cool retro, and the food was terrific. Everything on the menu looked so good, I had a hard time choosing what to eat. I went with the corned beef hash with eggs, and oh man! It was their house-made corned beef and so delicious! I would have ordered more food and taken the leftovers home if it weren't for the fact that my daughter was taking me sight-seeing afterward, and I didn't want to leave leftovers sitting in the car for hours. I really wanted to try both the pineapple upside-down pancakes and the sweet potato pancakes.
We were there on a Monday morning, and the place was jam packed, which I wouldn't expect on a weekday. The wait wasn't long, though, and our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. I hope I get a chance to go back again someday.
This place is one of the few places that my friends and I get up early to go to. This place has a swanky atmosphere and the staff is really nice. But the real reason everyone goes to snooze is because it has the best pancakes and waffles ever. If you go, don't expect to be eating paleo. Also, do yourself a favor and steer clear of anything that isn't a pancake or waffle because it probably isn't worth your time. But if (like a sane human being) you decide to order a pancake or waffle here, you really can't go wrong. I'd recommend getting the special though because usually that is a pretty incredible meal.
We come to Boulder to visit with our good friend Kurtus J who now lives here. This is a great restaurant with very good cocktails at breakfast/brunch. It's amazing now many breakfast places do not understand how to serve a good cocktail and make it part of the experience. This is an EXCELLENT place in very funky, weird and left-coast Boulder vibe. Just don't talk politics here and you will have great cocktails for breakfast and great food. A great times.
