Rushed home from work then into town to find they closed the doors 4 min early i had to exchange a can of paint that was dry tried calling no aswer- lost my business looks like its tractor supply from here out. This business has been around a long time its to bad most stay open 3 min passed. They dont care.

I have been to Smith's for odds and ends several times, as I shop local . Every trip I was greeted at some point from an employee asking if I needed assistance. There was once visit where as usual I was cutting it close to closing time and rather than be rude or upset like some folk get, they kindly reminded me it was closing time soon, and were very patient and friendly. I have yet to meet and see anyone try to hassle or pressure a sale or rush me through. I had two employees on another visit look individually through mower blades with me, we literally searched every one . I went with the first option.( of course right ) good cashiers. So that is why I give it 5 stars.

Cashier was very rude and talked down to my boyfriend and I. She also scoffed and snickered when we walked in. I've worked in customer service for 4 years and couldn't even imagine treating a customer so poorly.

I shop here when I need things and don't want to travel far. It is an ace hardware store. The shelving is not completely accurate many items are misplaced or are not priced at all. The employees are not very helpful as they do not know the products they sell. Usually Ace is the helpful place, but not here. Some items are priced way more than other ace hardware stores. The tool displays looked cluttered and unorganized. It seems they only care about certain products in that they have them nicely stacked and visible with accurate pricing. The pet supplies such as food and medicines are close to expiring. Watch out for dust and check the dates on perishable items. If they had people working there that enjoyed helping customers and a well organized store I would give one more star.

Better open what you are buying and make sure it's what it is suppose to be first. Easy place to get screwed on what you really want to buy.

As other reviewers mentioned, they employ cashiers and stockers. Not people with knowledge in their field. half the time they can't even help you find items in the store. Between things like massive over pricing, ($75 LED bulbs that are $20 elsewhere, $15 for hand sanding blocks that are $5 elsewhere) and that. Not worth the headache. Go to B & H supply(plumbing), Johnson's lumber, the Sears store or one of the auto parts stores.
