Amazing day at the summit of Skyline Divide. 2 miles semi hard hike to the top from 4400 ft at trailhead to the summit at 6000 ft above sea level. The hard work paid off!! Couldn't get any better than that to see the grandeur and majestic of Mount Baker with your own eyes are truly spectacular. God is amazing to give us such beauty.
Mount Baker, Mount Shuksan to the East, Strait of Georgia mountains of Vancouver Island to the West , and Canada Coastal Range are on their full view❤️

P/s This trip was on August 22, 2017 please bring bug spray with you! Tons of flies on the trails.

Also going there on weekdays is better than weekends less crowds. Compact car is doable at this time.

Little bit of roadwork on the highway, not a big deal!

The 12 miles dirt road after the main highway to the trailhead wasn't bad at all
Small compact car will do just fine, but check your break for driving downhills on your way back!

Beautiful but busy. If there are lots of people, just keep walking. Most people stop at Lunchbox Hill and don't walk any farther.

Well worth the drive/ hike. Prepare for crowds!

4X4 not required, but recommended. I saw a Smart Car parked up there on my last trip. Must have taken them twice as long to drive up there.

Trailhead is at roughly 4,000 ft and you hike up to 6,000 ft, so on a clear day you can see Canada and the backside of Mt. Baker!
