Nice campground in the woods along Diablo lake. Nice boat launch with two small docks. Great place to launch a canoe or kayak.

Our campsite was secluded and gorgeous. There's a nice 1.8 mile hike up to a great view point. The lake is turquoise. It's fantastic.

Heavily-wooded camp sites, each very secluded by trees. Someone else said the sites are close together, but that is bogusthese sites are among the most secluded I've ever seen! There are only a handful of sites that are close together and they're basically overflow sites and shouldn't be used to judge the rest of this beautiful campground.

Absolutely beautiful scenery but the campsites are a little bit close together. Nice clean bathrooms but no showers.

We love this spot and will continue to go. Our dogs both love it there as well. Great for paddle boarding, kayaking, and just relaxing surrounded by beautiful scenery! Clean bathrooms are a plus!

Quiet, for the most part. Running water with bathrooms, picnic tables and fire pit for each site, and some have bear lockers.

Great campground on the lake with semi-private sites. The bathrooms are clean and have running water. Lots of great places to explore from the campground and the lake is accessible from a lot of campsites. Be aware that the season is short at this campground so check ahead of time in the fall or late spring.

The rangers are really nice. It's a beautiful place to stay, lots of wildlife. There were these cute little chipmunks running around. Campsites are very nice.

The views here are amazing! !!.. the camp sites are clean and nice.. real bathrooms.. on the lake.. no cell phone reception .. next to Hwy 20. Easy access.. must see this place..

I grew up camping at Colonial creek and now that I'm an adult I won't go anywhere else! When I was a kid we went every summer from the time I was 8 or 9 until I was 15-16 and as soon as I was able to go camp on my own that's where I have been goin ever since, I'm in my 40's now. The place is clean, friendly, lots to do and the sites are all awesome!! The lake and scenery is just amazing!!

Have been to colonial creek 4 times and loved it every time. Last year had a loose dog that was agressive toward my husband but the Rangers were great and dealt with it professionally and quickly. Going to go the over the 4th of July weekend and we can't wait
