  My girlfriend and I were up for a weekend fishing trip near Minocqua and were very happy with our stay at the Skylark Motel. We arrived kind of late in the evening and the owners made accommodations for our late arrival on Friday. The motel is right on the main route through town so it was easy to find. Everything inside the room was clean and tidy. Room amenities included a small fridge, a microwave, and a flat screen TV. After getting in from a day of ice fishing on Saturday we found our bed made, new towels, and a couple of chocolate chip cookies waiting for us. We also had fish to clean after a day on the ice and the owners were nice enough to set us up with a fish cleaning station in the garage and a heater to keep us warm! The owners are EXTREMELY friendly, the rooms are reasonably priced, and the motel itself seems well-maintained. We plan to stay here next time we are near Minocqua. This "Ma and Pa" motel is the real deal. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

  Very clean, comfortable beds, microwave fridge combo, free WiFi and owners are very welcoming. Will definitely will be back!
