I have eight inside Sir Danos and I have had their pizzas brought home and it's been very good and I've had a good experience in their store
I love this place. The front counter people are so friendly and make sure you have what you need for your orders.
We eat the buffet often and carry out but after tonight (Saturday night) I will never eat it again..it was cold and gross. Staff was friendly but when I told the girl that the pizza was cold and gross.. she said OK. also my husband requested a pizza and was never made. Mazzerelas will get 100% of ourbusiness!
Wonderful place to take the kids. Cracker crust type pizza. Not exactly Chicago or New York pizza, this is a unique family friendly joint with tasty pies and if you get the Buffett they will often ask you if you'd like your own pizza set out. Fun Littleton frills salad bar, sandwiches and pasta. Love love love Sir Danos!
I don't understand the great reviews. Maybe because it's a small town and people aren't used to good food but everything I ordered was very bland. The French salad dressing for my salad tasted like it had cinnamon in it. The ranch was bland and cheap. The salad had several pieces of wilted lettuce and no romaine like it claimed in it. The nachos werewell I've had better at a high school game concession stand the cheese was EXTREMELY bland my 2 year old wouldn't even eat it. The pizza was also bland other than the sickly sweet pizza sauce. Was not impressed. However they were SUPER nice on the phone and delivered on time. It's also super cheap so I didn't spend too much. The food just sucks bad. Must just be a local thing but I would pass.
I called the restaurant before going and ask them if they took requests for the pizza on the buffet and the lady said yes. My daughter and I met my brother-in-law there for lunch. When I got there he told me that we had to pay first so I went to the register and paid with my debit card for my daughter and I. I then put in a request for the buffet and the man told me OK but after waiting for several other pizzas to come out our pizza never came so I went back twice and asked about the pizza until the cook finally told me that they did not have time to put it in. I got to the car the cook came out to my car and accused me of leaving without paying for me and my daughter so I told her that I paid with my debit card and she asked to see the receipt which I showed her and she said OK thank you and then started back inside. My brother-in-law was still in the restaurant and as he was exiting the lady accused him of giving me his Receipt so I could eat free. Worst customer service i have EVER experienced.
Food is excellent- especially the Stromboli! It makes up for its lack of atmosphere and professionalism. It's mostly in its original style from over 40 years of service. Worth the try!
Terrible service!!! Called in and they said it would be between 30-35 min on a Thursday night for a carry out. My mom went to pick it up and they had her waiting another 25 minutes! When she finally questioned them on it, the lady asked what her name was (again) and then proceeded to retrieve it from on top of the oven where it was sitting the entire time. Come on people! Get your act together, your pizza isn't good enough for you to be doing dumb stuff like this!
GREAT PLACE. EXCELLENT FOOD. AND WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!! They let my son and daughter stay there after school till the sports practice or till we could pick them up. They are great, and food is wonderful too.
Called in an order for a small sausage and pepperoni pizza at 7:00 pm on a Friday. Was told that it would take 25 minutes. Arrived at 7:30 pm. Was told that it would be a few more minutes. At almost 8:00 pm , still no pizza. I walked up to the counter and asked if my pizza was ready. I was told that it would still be a few more minutes.
Finally received pizza a few minutes later.
Pros: Great pizza. Cooked exactly how I liked it.
Cons: If it is going to take an hour, then please tell me that on the phone.
This pizza is the best I have had in my entire life!!! It was a big part of my childhood and I'm glad it's still open!! If your questioning spending you money here. DO. It is worth every cent!
Always a wait for pizza on the buffet. Pizza is awesome though.
Perfect home town pizza parlor! Sauce is unique, friendly service, great buffet.
This pizza joint is very close to a friend's home, so when we have a get together, we often order. I love the square pizza, always on time and correct!
You have a 10% success with orders. I have had two issues, pickup and carryout, that drew me to writing a review, ordering once a month average.
The first issue was they never received the online order so when I showed up, they didn't know about it. Displayed the order # and order from my phone, still no record.
The second issue was delivery - ordering at 2:30p (downtime) it took two hours to receive. They claimed wrong phone number, wrong address, displays went down, they were backed up - every excuse. I kept asking the girl on phone, "what are my options?" and I could not even get a simple answer. I had to dig this information out of her. Received order by a pissed off deliveryman at 4:38p and while he did not say a single word to me, I still tipped 20%. I asked the girl on phone to speak to manager, she said there wouldn't be one until the next day around 5:00p. This store is ran without a manager on a weekend for more than a 24-hour time? Asked to speak to owner - he apparently has a second job.
Pizza is great, but the online ordering service is awful, and probably why you don't see their place packed. I offered to replace it (am a web developer for a Fortune 50 company in area), no response. They just don't have the platform and processes to be successful in this competitive industry. They have the product, but nothing else. They will always struggle because of it.
