One of my favorite places if you can get in. Vintage decor makes for charming ambiance. Very reasonable prices for the area on bountiful, delicious, southern comfort food. I had the battered pork chop breakfast which came with grits, eggs, and biscuits with gravy for under $12.00.

The walls are dotted with pictures of celebrities who have dined or shot movies there which adds to the experience of a eating somewhere with history.

Deducting one star for appearance. Food is good to excellent. The pancakes are great. With the money they make, the dining room could be cleaned up. Really needs to be refreshed.

Delicious food. Very friendly service. Great old time diner atmosphere. I had corned beef hash, eggs, biscuits and gravy. I also had to try the country ham which was recommended to me by a business associate. Everything was prepared just right. A fun dining experience.

Bought catfish dinner w/collard greens, mac & cheese, a sweet potato and 2 corn muffins yesterday food was awesome. Came back today bought the same identical dinner collard greens & sweet potato were cold catfish was hot 1 piece was not fully cooked and corn muffins were dark brown server said we have new cooks in the back. Server was very polite forget her name but she was the youngest server only one with glasses maybe this can tell you who was our server but overall you still get 5 stars. Maybe it wasn't my day.

Best biscuitsPeriod. And the nicest staff you can imagine. We were travelling home to Chicago from Florida and stopped to recharge in morning. This was the perfect choice!

Fantastic breakfast spot. Their bacon egg and cheese biscuit is phenomenal, and their grits are some of the best around. If you get there and there is a line (which most of the time there is on weekends) don't worry about it, they get people in pretty quickly. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast spots in Atlanta!

True Southern breakfast joy. I had the chicken fried steak - the batter was light, flavorful, and the perfect crunch - stood up well when slathered with white gravy. Oh, hell yes. The fried pork chops - just as amazing - again, the batter was a special standout. Grits were good and biscuits fluffy. No frills diner perfection!

Best breakfast in Atlanta! There is usually a wait and the honor system method is a bit odd to me, but the wait is worth it. The pork chops are so good!!

If you're looking for an inexpensive brunch with a very homely brunch, hit this spot. Perhaps my being a non-eggetarian vegetarian biases my perspective on the goodness of the food here. Our options were limited to a waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, and biscuits. The biscuits are great! But apart from that, I didn't particularly fall in love with the uncomfortable seating, homely-to-a-fault decor, and service like your strict grandmother would treat you. Given these things, I can't understand how so many celebrities have stopped by this joint! Go figure.

Food is always excellent, staff a pleasure. Have been going for many, many years. Usually have the country ham with red eye gravy, over easy eggs, grits and of course the awesome biscuits. For those that complain about the country ham being salty, we'll it's country ham what else do you expect.
