Anytime you want to feel like a kid again, this is the place to go. The history of the carousel's organ box is amazing to read about. You'll feel like you just stepped out of the 1920s after visiting! Also, for Christmas and Halloween they decorate the train model which is also awesome to see. This place will be sure to bring a smile to your face!

My kids love the carousel; they are always asking to go back. They also like the side-activities (e.g. drawing table, rocking chairs, play cars, the miniature amusement park). We go whenever we are in town.

Old-school carousel loving restored and maintained. A large staff of friendly volunteers are on-hand. The price-point: $3 per rider, with a move to $2 for purchasing more rides.

This place is a must go for kids of all ages! A fun quick trip if there are no events going on. But always look at their calendar because they have so many fun events for the kids all year round! Sometimes it's busy but the kids always have a great time. Employees have always made it easy to enjoy yourself here. The yearly live reindeer event is what started our tradition of going here in 2011! Only improvements since!

Extremely fun, throwback atmosphere to 50's, 60's, and 70's era amusement rides.
Great building the carousel is set up in, just down from the beach.
    Roomy.
    Decent pricing.
Quite a bit of nostalgia pieces on display, and that you can interact with.

Great little carousel, the kids loved it. They have a bin of fun hats to wear while riding, lots of different animals to pick from on the carousel, little exhibits around the perimeter, and an area for non riders to sit and play chess. I saw a sign that headphones are available for people who are sensitive to noise, which was great. Though to be clear, in general it did not seem very loud to me or my fairly sensitive 4yo. Staff was friendly and helpful. Adults riding (standing) with a small child do not have to pay to ride.

So great for kids. Great history shown throughout. Big carousel with three rows of creatures to ride on. It even has stationary animals for those that can't get up on the pedestal animals. Two historic carousel band players. Coloring for kids, rocking chairs, old amusement park bumper cars to sit on

Words cannot express how happy I was to see my grandkids enjoy their time at the Silver Beach Carousel. The snack bar and gift shop are the icing on the cake as you enjoy your time there.

Very affordable and a lot of fun! The carousel is very well maintained and The structure surrounding the carousel is very authentic and festive. The line is never too long and there are plenty of fun things to look at and interact with while waiting. Often times, they will also have bean bag toss (cornhole) and side walk chalk right outside the surrounding glass doors.
