All around great place. The people are so nice here and always making sure you are taken care of. The cooks they have are a treasure! Even though you don't see them. They deserve the highest marks because even if I had the worst service. The food would bring me back every time. Love it !!!
Quantity is the name of the game here, if you leave hungry you have only yourself to blame. Portion sizes offset atmosphere here, so come hungry and enjoy. This is not gourmet but good, wholesome food. Reasonable pricing, good food and great service keep this restaurant full. Even the manager asked us if we needed anything (and we do not photograph food because I want to be treated like a regular). Be sure to stop by, it is worth it!
We came into town to go backpacking on Cumberland Island. Several of us decided to eat here the night before. And it was so good, we had it for lunch again before we headed home several days later. I had the trio of blackened flounder, clam strips and fried shrimp. The clams were extremely fresh and tender. Same for the shrimp. The fish was cooked perfectly - very moist and flakey, with the perfect amount of blackened seasoning. The hush puppies are big and fantastic, unlimited and free. We each ordered a large draft beer which came in a thick frozen mug. We talked about that beer for days! The waitress recommended the green beans and I second that. They were very well seasoned and yummy. We had side salads which were very large. Overall an excellent meal and I can't wait to come back.
We had some salmon with rice and coleslaw. It tasted ok but It was pretty dry and I am far from sure it isn't frozen salmon. We also had a bisque soup. That one was very good. The fountain sprite was undrinkable. Plastic cups. No bread, just crackers. Some people need to eat in a 5 star restaurant to see the difference.
Great food! I had the sirloin steak and blackened shrimp. It definitely outdid ANY steak from longhorns.
Great first experience! Jazzy was our server and she was amazing on top of her game for sure! Food was great. I had the jumbo fried shrimp delic! And those hush puppies! Dinner salad was fresh mixed greens, cucumber, tomato, onion and croutons house ranch was tasty. The seafood Alfredo wasn't a hit, but everything else was very good, and the service was the best!
Fresh seafood, fresh broccoli, creamy cheese grits, ample serving size, friendly staff, fast service, reasonable price, clean facility. What's not to like? Yes, I will return.
Great food and friendly service, inexpensive..I love dining there
Great service even better steaks and crab legs yum i want some now
The food is always great. Quick service. Good price.
They have excellent seafood and the service is excellent as well. This is our first visit to this area and we really enjoyed this restaurant and felt very at home.
The food is amazing. Very well priced. The service alone was 5 stars. The waitresses in the place all work together and you will never have to wait for anything.
In town for work and decided to try Ship 2 Shore and It was amazing. Portions are huge and the food saw so good. I mean so good that we came back the next night and had dinner here again. If you are in St. Mary's /Kingsland area you have to eat here.
We ate at Ship 2 Shore on 2/17/17 and HIGHLY recommend it. We wanted something localnot a chain. Saw good reviews and wanted tp add ours. The menu choices were great - I like broiled and my husband likes fried. The portions were just right. And the service - our server was Valerie - was EXCELLENT!!!! We plan to have lunch on our way home from Florida.
