  I had the opportunity to work with attorneys Kevin Shields and Andrea Koch. They are both good listeners and compassionate. Both attorneys helped me understand our legal rights and allowed me to make an informed decision. The communication was strong and they were both very responsive. If you’re looking for someone who believes in your child, you have found them within this firm. I would hire this firm to represent us in the future if we ever have the need.

  If you need help fighting for your children please reach out to the Shields law firm. They are very efficient. They are also very understanding. Everything was done promptly. Communication was 5 stars. I was very overwhelmed with this process but Andrea and the team was very supportive. Thanks so much Andrea I really appreciate you!!!!

  I am beyond grateful to have found Shields Law Firm. The level of professionalism, compassion, understanding that my son and I received was overwhelming in every good way! They are not only knowledgeable on the issues dealing with children who learn differently, but also treat you just like family. Attorneys Kevin Shields and Andrea Koch are heaven sent.   Our experience with the Shields Law Firm has been nothing but exceptional. We have a son who has been through the diagnostic process, and unfortunately, that whole ordeal has not gone well. We have had the school district do everything but help our son. In the process, we tried our best to work with them, but quickly we learned that they were only going to dot their "i's" and cross their "t's." The school district made it clear that their only interests were covering their liabilities, and my son was a "problem," not a person. However, we have a friend who has a son with autism, and she knows the issues that arise when working with the school district. She recommended Kevin Shields. She said, "if you're going to pursue legal action, you need to get Kevin Shields; his name alone will get their attention." She wasn't lying. From our initial conversation with Kevin and his legal team, we knew we were in the right place. They are indeed experts in their fields.
