This was such a great experience staying here! Phil the owner was extremely accommodating, he was more than on top of everything he keeps the beach clean and his dog is so friendly and well trained and loved the kids. There was cable for rainy days and everything you could need inside of the cabin. The inside felt really at home! The stars were amazing and the atmosphere made you forget about everything! Plus it's a good location because everything was fairly close by :) definetly will be back next year!!!!!!

I always enjoy my time at Sherman's Resort and Campground. It is a quiet family friendly place with great fishing and amazing sunsets. My teenage daughter enjoyed the raft, ski do and volleyball. There was also a paddleboat that we took out and had a blast. We found it to be just the right mix of fun and relaxation.

To be honest, Cabins were old and dated. However the place was awesome. The lake, badminton and sand volleyball courts and firepits made the stay memorable.

We were there with a group over the 4th of July. Campground run down. Cabins dirty and dated. One of the cabins had a leaky sink which owner didn't want to bother fixing. Only one bathroom for ladies, one for men and one shower for whole campground. They were never cleaned the whole week we were there. Most of the time no toilet paper. Fish cleaning station stunk and never was cleaned. Owner was a drunk and combative. Best to avoid asking for anything. Grass not cut. Campers had to use a 110 household plug and share the line with other campers. You could only have a couple lights on and they would flicker. Dump station is a joke. Can't get close to it so you have to use a portable tank to empty and even then you have to lift it up because it's maybe 8 inches off the ground. I would avoid this place at all costs. Look for another place. When we talked to people in town, they said there were a lot of better places to stay. They heard the complaints about this place.
