I randomly came across this place late on a Friday night. The bartender, owner & patrons couldn’t have been nicer! Warm, friendly, welcoming, great food & service. I’ll be back!!!

Well I do not understand the great reviews this place has got. I went there with 2 guests for dinner. The website said it was a BOGO night. We had 3 entrees , $12.95, $13.75, $15.95
We had a plate of steamers to start. The bill was full priced and when queried we were told that as 2 of the items were from ‘Irish fare’ they were not counted as entrees. Bait and Switch!!!
Food was ok. A bit greasy. Definitely an old neighborhood bar with nothing Irish about it .

Great little bar with awesome food. A hidden gem, we lived in the area for years before wandering in, years we won't get back! Friendly staff, neighborhood feel.

Came here for the first time tonight on a whim. Absolutely delicious! I had the chicken marsala dinner, which was probably one of the best marsala dishes I've ever had. And my husband had the Ruben sandwich, which was generously sized and also very good! All in all, we highly recommend Shenanigans and will be back.

So happy to be back to enjoy their Thai Calamari! I just told my husband that I don't need any fancy restaurant to celebrate moms day I just want savory delicious food and this is the perfect local place for it! Great atmosphere and friendly staff!

I recently moved into the neighborhood, and really love this place. The bartenders are great, the patrons are great, and the food is awesome. I've come a few times, and both times I've eaten were just amazing for a small place like this. Everything is seasoned well, the sauces are great, and I've had nothing but very fresh food. Even on a slow night, it's still a good time at Shenanigans! Highly recommend this place to anybody!

A truly hidden gem in Rockaway Borough. I don't know what the last person was eating at. It is a truly clean and has great food. I have been a patron for years and never had a bad meal. Staff is like family and wait on you hand and foot.

I've visited twice over the past year I simply cannot recommend the place. The service was less than stellar (sat at the bar to order dinner and the bartender was there less than half of the time). Overpriced for the quality of the fare. Food was barely palatable both times. This time, my salad was at least a week past its prime not just wilted, much of it was slimy and rotten. Walking out, the back door to the kitchen was propped open. Had I seen the filthy kitchen on the way in, I never would have ordered food. Even the draft beer tasted "off."
