  Went here during the Rebels and Readers book signing weekend. It was a nice bar and we had a fun time. Wish they had draft beer.

  Robin the "manager" cursed me out because I asked for waters even though my friend bought a drink and we paid to get in. So finally 10 mins later I got water and as we left i told Robin she had no rift to not serve is waterthen she called me a B$$$$ and had the door man escort us out. Very odd but I will never go back there.

  Service was pretty slow. Has to point out which rum I was asking for because they didn't know the products. Watching people dance was very entertaining

  I was down here for work and had a great time. Walking through downtown Huntington, we were trying to find a bar that seemed to fit what we wanted. We finally decided to go into the next bar we saw no matter what. This is where I met Sharkeys!! So glad this was the bar - we went on a Wednesday night and were the only group of people in there. There were a few people than came in after us but it was quiet for the most part because it was a Wednesday night. The bartenders were VERY nice and gave us great service. They were down-to-earth and I only wish I could go back sooner. Hopefully the same crew is there next year!
  
  Prices were reasonable which is always a plus! highly recommend

  It's a place we can always come for fun! Whether there is a DJ or karaoke, the dancing is always good;)

  Sharkey's is the best bar in Huntington. Almost every bar in town has either been shot up or shut down for underage drinking after a year or two. Not Sharkey's. It's been open for over 20 years. They don't allow anyone under 21 and security checks for weapons outside the door. They pride themselves on being safe place that you can drink and dance. Especially for women, it's a place where no means no, and the staff enforce it. Any guy that doesn't understand the meaning of the word "no" will be asked to leave. Not only that, but they don't discriminate on absolutely anyone for any reason, and don't allow anyone else to. Sharkey's is a mix of all different types of people, and always has been. You never know what kind of person you are going to meet there. You will find people of all ages, any ethnicity, or any sexual orientation. If you are looking for a safe place to drink, dance, and just have fun. Then Sharkey's is the place you want to be.
