The light show was beautiful. I loved the isle of christmas trees that were in honor or in memory of people.

Maybe the most elaborate Christmas light display anywhere, for a town of this size. Lights per capita value surely must be world-class. Great job, Gallipolis volunteers.

Absolutely beautiful at Christmas. Times other than Christmas.your typical small town park with a beautiful view of Ohio River.

Beautiful place to take a relaxing walk & enjoy the outdoors with a scenic view of the Ohio River. Alot of historical monuments, veterans memorial & plaques with stories about settlement history. This park is always decorated during Christmas season & Santa Claus usually visits.

The park is always beautiful! Love sitting at the tables or swings to watch the river. Its calming especially at night. There are also memorials at this location. It is worth checking out. Everyone should check it out during Christmas as well. The park is lighted with tons of lights known as Gallipolis In Lights.

I went to the 4th annual BBQ festival. It was a beautiful day. Everyone was very friendly and all seemed to have a good time .

Such a beautiful town. Everyone we met was so friendly. Someone needs to open a B&B or at least host an air B&B . We would have love to stay longer.

Not a lot of entertainment here but the beauty and tranquility under the ancient trees right beside the majestic Ohio River make it worth a stop. They have swings for two to enjoy facing the River then the park itself is surrounded on three sides by historical buildings. If you're in the area it's a must see.

The park is a relaxing place to stroll and rest, but it also conveys a deep sense of history and community pride. In addition to the bandstand, fountain, and benches, it contains several historical markers, veterans monuments, and other commemorative markers. Located between a quaint commercial section of the Ohio River Scenic Byway and access to the river, the park is also convenient for walking along the river and seeing other sites in the city. Although the city park map shows the park bordered by First Street, it actually extends to the river front where there is boat access, an amphitheater, and more historical markers.

Beautiful view of the mighty Ohio River. Lovely place for family time and pet walking. Park is beautifully decorated with many flowers and plants. Also has some historical monuments and plaques. Very nice around Christmas time.
