Drove to this campground to meet a large group of friends and family members and discovered this place discriminates against pitbull mixes. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Find a nicer place without stereotypes.
Very crowded, campers too close for comfort. Did have nice amenities.
I came for a weekend 5 years ago and never left
Horrible experience. The cabin was a cement box in the middle of a field that we had to share with strangers. Fire pit also in the middle of a field, 4 - 5 feet from neighnors pit (litterally). The staff was so rude. We booked 3 nights but only stayed 1 night because it was honestly that bad. They charged us for the whole weekendeven the 3rd night, even with more than 24 hr notice.
I've come here every year for the last 5 years and always stay at the Love Shack! The staff are always over the top helpful, friendly and nice. Mark, especially goes out of his way for us and for all his guests. The regular campers are also very hospitable and we always have a blast. We are able to bring our dog as well and she can't get enough of camping.
The owners and staff go out of their way to make this an enjoyable camping experience. One of our favorite things is they also sell Charlie's Cheese, a craft made cheese that is delicious. Oh, and my wife likes to fish in the pond so can catch and release and she doesn't have to clean any fish. :)
If u go for a weekend and like to stay extremly close to your neighbors not a bad place The owners were very rude and concentrated more on running a backhoe and golfcart than the experience people were having at their campground Too much alcohol flows freely there for my taste..
