Embroidery work was done with my NQ1700E that I purchased from Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse, Houston Location. This business has great customer service. Brenda helped me with my purchase as well as a purchase for my sister, Bertha, in Wisconsin. She is very patient and has the knowledge needed to answer questions about my new machine. Even though Brenda has been my go-to person, the entire staff treats you like family. Check them out for your next sewing project.

Went in before Christmas to get my machine looked at for repairs. Lauren was very honest and told me that my machine was not worth fixing. She directed me to a machine, Brother, that was a deal, and they would take my broken machine as a trade-in. I have since gone in to buy some accessories for my new machine and they reminded me that I was given some incredible coupons. I will go back with my coupons to purchase needed supplies! Great customer service and knowledgeable staff.

The Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse was a very pleasant surprise. I made my first visit to this business last Monday and was delighted with the service and availability of products. Brenda knew exactly what I needed and even recommended a few items that have made my hobby even more enjoyable. Brenda spent a lot of time with me explaining how to use the more obscure features of my machine and making sure that I understood. I'll certainly return often, as this business is a treasure to the community.

I didn't feel welcome from the minute I walked in. The lady looked me up and down like I was a piece of trash and could barely muster a hello. Maybe she doesn't like tattoosI inquired about getting my machine repaired and she asked me what was wrong. I explained the best I could. After she struggled to open the program to write a service order all without saying a word to me I noticed the pricing for repairs. It was 139.95 to take it in I believe. I asked what happens if my $250 machine can't be repaired? Am I just out of luck? She said "what's the problem again?" Obviously she was not listening the first time I explained
At this point a manager I guess came over. He said he didn't carry Singer because they are poor quality. He suggested she show me a few models of the "cheaper ones." Aside from his poor customer service skills He must also have the unique ability to know how much money I had in my pocket too. Feeling insulted I should have left then. I agreed to be shown a few machines. The lady who looked me up and down had me follow her. After a quick demo where she asked me no questions and never even offered me a chaira nice lady several machines away got up to offer me one. At this point I decided enough was enough. I gathered up my machine and the lady had the nerve to ask me again if I wanted to service it. I told her I'd go elsewhere.
Don't judge people by their cover and learn how to treat customers. I'll never go back.
