Maura did a fantastic job with my wedding dress! We were under a tight timeline and she was able to do all alterations within a few weeks to meet my deadline. I will update this review with a photo after the ceremony!

Maura is such a sweet and wonderful lady! She altered my wedding dress and made it fit perfectly and beautifully. She is very careful and attentive to detail when it comes to wedding gowns. I had been searching a long time for a good seamstress and came to Maura last minute with my dress at 5 weeks from the wedding. She worked me into her schedule and even accommodated me when I had to cancel and reschedule for the following week because of my work. She also reserved the two days after my final fitting for any last minute changes to the dress so that I could be 100% confident in the fit of the gown. Thank you so much, Maura! You made me feel so beautiful for my wedding day!!!!

Took in several pairs of pants for Maura to hem. Unfortunately, they were all too short and Maura blamed me. When I called her to find out when I could bring them back in, she became belligerent and argumentative. The more she talked, the angrier she became, accusing me of missing multiple appointments, which I did not miss. Her prices are very high and she was going to charge me again to clean up a mess of her own making. I chose her initially because of her high rating; just goes to show that not everything that shines is gold. Rude and obnoxious. I will now return to my reliable 3-star alterationist.

Maura was wonderful to work with! She worked on a bridesmaids dress for me and did a beautiful job on my wedding dress. She has a beautiful attention to detail and was able to take in my wedding dress without harming any of the eccentric beading and design. She is well worth the cost! You know you're getting what you paid for and you can definitely trust her to do an amazing job.

Our experience was absolutely amazing! We came home from work one day and saw that our dog had eaten part of my wife's teddy bear that she has had since the day she was born. My wife was very distressed by this and I was so relieved when I found Sewing Creations. Maura was very nice and understood the importance of this bear. She was able to repair the bear in just a few days (ahead of the timeline that she originally gave me). Now he is as good as new and it's as if nothing happened! I cannot thank Maura enough for her help. She was fantastic and I would totally recommend her business.

Maura is a real sweet heart. She makes every attempt to get it right, and genuinely cares. She is also does leather alterations, which is a rarity! I'll be back! :-D

Felt comfortable as soon as I walked in the door! Had Maura alter my wedding dress and it fit perfectly! I went back once for a fitting and then again to make sure the bustle was correct. That day she was able to make a couple adjustments and send me on my way! It was quick and Maura is a doll! Sweetest lady in the whole world! Highly suggest getting any item of clothing done here.

Maura expertly executed the specific alterations of my wedding gown, which was full of sequins and beads. Her professional work made the dress comfortable, functional and original. She also saved the gown clippings to use in my bouquet. A fair price too. Great service – I highly recommend Maura!!
