  I am a pet sitter and recently one of my charges, who was diabetic, became very ill at around 8:15 at night. He was in serious trouble and I needed help fast. A few days earlier I had learned from Dr. Heard that they now have extended hours. I called the clinic and explained that, even though we weren’t regular clients, I had a cat in trouble. They immediately said to bring the cat in. Dr. Storm and 2 technicians met us at the door and went to work on him. His blood glucose was too low to register and his temperature was very low. After a couple of hours they got him stable enough to get him to the emergency clinic. They were wonderful. They never gave up and stayed positive throughout. It was such a relief having them available and I can’t thank them enough.

  The staff of Severna Park Veterinary have always been wonderful to all of my pets throughout the past twenty years. Their sensitivity and compassion continue to be greatly appreciated! They are an asset to the SP community!!

  Very helpful and friendly staff. The doctor was very serious about troubleshooting what was ailing my daughter's pet Rosie. She even called another specialist outside of the practice to consult after all of the test results showed no issues (but the animal was obviously ailing). You could also tell how much every person on the staff loved animals which is not always obvious. I had already taken my daughter's pet to another vet so I had that recent visit in my mind when I drove the extra distance to see the doctor at Severna Park veterinary hospital. The difference was like night and day. I went from hopelessness to finding a treatment plan that has worked for little Rosie.

  Awesome place to take your loved one. All of the staff there make you feel welcomed and all of them are engaged with your pet. I recommend this place to everyone!

  I go there for dog training with Paws and Pawsibilities, and its a nice area. The training room is quiet and away from other dog areas and the trainer's are great!

  Not impressed. Doctors were nice but we felt like expensive services were pushed on us even when they might not have been necessary. When we refused we were made to feel guilty. Usually the front desk staff are very nice, but on our last visit they got our appointment time wrong and were quite rude about it. There are a number of other good vets in the area, so we switched and probably saved at least $60 on our last visit alone.

  Dr.Herd has been our veterinarian for over 10 years. Severna Park Veterinary Hospital is a 5 star establishment with caring doctors and support staff. I know several other neighbors who put their trust in Severna Park Veterinarians. Skilled, carrying, personal, and kind. Great place for all your pet care needs.
