Excellent food, very informal dining (trattoria).

Order a slice of White Pizza and Sicilian and the slices were BIG. The pizza was OK, but way too much cheese on both slices. Service was good and restaurant was clean.

Not good.. first thing after me and my wife ordered it took almost 20 minutes for my appetizers and it was only shrimp cocktail. When it came the shrimp were room temperature and not chilled. My crab cakes tasted like they were frozen and not homemade no crab in them?? Prices are outrageous for the amount and quality of food you get! Dinner doesn't even come with a salad. All and all not a good experience for me

Had a $100+ take out order on New Year's Day. The food was close to embarrassing to serve to visiting family. Children and adults alike found the meatballs and spaghetti dinners, various hero sandwiches and two different pizzas universally not appealing and not worth finishing! Most of the food purchased was thrown out. The plain pizza had a soggy crust, was overly salty and could only be compared to a supermarket frozen variety. The meatball/mushroom was only slightly better. Go to Colloseo, Manhattan or Carnival for pizza. The hero sandwiches were on soft, whitbread type rolls which lacked the crisp crust that makes a hero a "hero". Had trouble telling the difference between the chicken parm, shrimp parm and the veal parm. Too much breading on the fried food. The meatballs were average at best- usually can get better at Costco, Uncle Giuseppe etc.
Last time for food at this inadequate establishment. Too many better choices in the area.

This is our favorite place for authentic Long Island pizza.

The two-pizza special with garlic nuts: best deal ever.

We always take friends here when they are visiting us on Long Island. Gotta get their "Pizza Fix" at Pastaria!

We love it here! The wait staff is fantastic, the food taste great, and the prices reasonable. Plus there's always some kind of special buy depending on the night. Friday's buy 1 drink and get one free is always a big hit. :-)

We happened upon this pizzeria when my son moved in to the area. It is now an almost weekly staple. The staff is generous and kind and very welcoming. We generally stick to the wonderful variety of pizzas, but have recently started sampling salads and soups. I'm an autism mom, it means an incredible amount that my son feels comfortable here and has explored their menu.
