On our first (emergency) call our old HVAC had leaked into our basement, ruining the floor in a matter of hours. Seth from Service First responded to my distress call, late on a Friday afternoon. He came in less that two hours, saying he was worried for us and the state our system was in. He cleaned and fixed the problem. I was so grateful.
Later, when my husband and I decided to go with a new system, Jerry patiently walked us through all of our options and was very transparent about cost, efficiency, and installation for each option.
The day of installation ran long, but smooth. I felt they were very respectful of our home, cleaning up after themselves and always asking if it was ok to come and go, and which doors were ok. ( We have an escape artist kitty.) Jerry, along with two technicians stayed and ran a ton of tests until they were satisfied with the results.
We’ve been able to keep our thermostat at 74( two degrees higher that before) and my home is nice and cool. Would 10 out of 10 recommend these guys!response / report this review -

Eric was very helpful and gave us a variety of options for our system in order to work with our budget. He was very professional, kind, and punctual. Everything we could ask for from an hvac company!

I am so happy!! I had a super dry house, was dealing with nail pops on my ceiling, cracks in my walls, my animals’ skin was dry, my skin was dry, we were miserable! Seth was amazing at troubleshooting my issues and getting me scheduled so quickly for a great full home humidifier install. I was informed of when the equipment came in, got so much peace of mind, and was taken care of 100%. Roger came to install the humidifier. These guys were SO on point, sensitive to my animals and me working from home, so professional, and they were great at explaining things in a way I could understand. I will recommend to everyone I know and my neighbors. Thanks so much for the excellent customer service and making my life and house so much better!!

I very rarely write reviews but I feel like finding a good hvac company is practically as hard as finding a good dentist or car repair shop. Our HVAC stopped working yesterday morning, I got in contact with service first and Seth reached out within 5 minutes and was en route within another 5 minutes. We bought our house about 2.5 years ago and have had visits 3 times previously from another company for HVAC issues, we were never given an actual diagnosis just told that the filters should be changed and our system is old. When Seth arrived he was really respectful I showed him the thermostat, indoor and outdoor units and he completed an extremely detailed system check. Once he was done he physically showed me all of the repair that would be required (the repair work needed is a lot and should have been caught when the other company came out) and then we called my boyfriend and dad so Seth could relay the information. This was really helpful because I wouldn’t have been able to explain it nearly as well. He gave us 8 quotes, 4 repair quotes and 4 system replacement quotes ranging from basic to platinum… again, extremely helpful, reasonable and upfront with what is included! Answered all my questions and never once felt like a pushy salesman.he got it working for the time being and We will be getting our system replaced with them once we decide on the best option for us. I highly recommend!

It was finally time to get my 25-year-old AC in my Manassas home replaced, so I called a few places to get some estimates, and Jerry from Service First was one of the people to come out. He was very thorough and did a great job going over my options. He really listened to what I was looking for.
His estimate was very reasonable, and he and Eric came out a few days later to do the job. I couldn't have been more impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and their effort (replacing a full AC system is no small job!). By mid-afternoon that day I had a sweet new 2 ton Bryant AC/heat pump, and after a couple of weeks and some mid-90s weather I'm loving my new AC system.
My experience with Service First was great. Jerry and Eric were total pros, and on top of that they're just good people (they really like dogs, what more do I have to say?). Give them a call, you won't be sorry!response / report this review
