  The New Standard Academy provides many opportunities for children to advance their education. These teachers focus on their students as an individual which ensures long lasting knowledge for every student. They are willing to go the extra mile both with the normal course of study but also with life skills that are important outside the classroom. Helping students understand the value of their education can be life changing. I am proud we have such a wonderful school right here in Flint.
  
  We are so lucky to have stumbled across Mrs. Nowakowski. We will forever appreciate her compassion and education. When our young child was falling behind, Mrs. Nowakowski was able to give us suggestions on HOW to help our child learn on a level that she understood. I can never repay her for the knowledge she has shared to help our child succeed. Any student would be lucky to have her as their teacher. Mrs. Nowakowski will always go above and beyond because she truly wants every student to get the best education possible.

  The New Standard is a school that cares about not only academic growth of students, but their social and emotional growth as well. I have worked at several other schools and can honestly say it would be hard to find a school with teachers who care more about the overall well-being of their students than those at The New Standard.

  I love the staff they are up lifting people and nice and sweet. I really love when we sell popcorn. We have a good and amazing park at are school. I really love these wonderful caring nice charming teachers they always make smile when i am down or hurt a specially Ms. T she is so funny thank you guys for everything you guys did for me Oh and or bus drivers are amazing.

  My son have been going here since he was in head start and he loves it. Everybody knows him when he walk in the building and when he leaves. They are very protective over the students. Keep up the good work.

  They didn't feed my 5 year old grandson twice.His teacher ms Johnson i went to take his lunch a montn n half ago she told me wait on him n cafeteria. So i waited until 11:10 i went to his room n got him
  How can kid eat lunch n 25 minutes. I hate that school.will be looking for one that take pride in our babies.
