My daughter and I grabbed a quick trail ride the other day with Ashley, one of the trail guides at Serenbe Stables. She was knowledgeable, funny, engaging, and kept us aware of any 'favorite butt scratching' trees for the horse I was riding, Peyton. We had a blast, and enjoyed chatting with her afterwards. Additionally she had a blue heeler named Bullet, who went on the run with us and was so cute and well trained. What more could you ask for?

Serenbe Stables is located half an hour from downtown Atlanta. It is an easy drive and an amazing way to escape the city and enter a rural community with the opportunity to walk, ride a bike, and grab a bite. However, if you are looking for the safe, fun, ideal riding experience, Serenbe Stables is not for you. The staff is lacking experience and interest for the profession. The barn is not well taken care, the land's state is gradually yet quickly deteriorating. The stalls are rarely in good condition. The ring is not safe. The barn management is not professional and has very limited experience in this profession. If you want to go on a trail ride, it's a great place. However, if you want to board a horse, or lease, please do not make the mistake and do not board your horse. While your at it, drive a few more miles to find a good, safe, fun, beautiful and professional barn.
