My experiences with Seno Formal Wear in Bloomington, IL have been fantastic. They provide a wide variety of options to choose from and their staff is always more than willing to help. The quality of their merchandise and friendly atmosphere are why I choose to continue going to Seno for any formal wear needs.
The manager, James, has been working with tuxedos for years and his experience shows. His staff is always willing to help explain the process and color choices with a smile. The best place to rent tuxedos from in Bloomington/Normal!
I rented a tuxedo from Seno, in Bloomington, Illinois, a couple of months ago. I submitted my measurements on-line through their website. PIECE OF CAKE! James, the manger was awesome to work with as well. His staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be renting again for another wedding in two more months. Guessing who is going back to Seno? 👍🏻
I just rented a tux from the manager James a couple weeks ago. He was outstanding to work with, I just picked up the tux and it fit like a glove!! I would definitely recommend Seno, ask for James!
I recently rented a tux from Seno's for my wedding. The day I picked up the tux, I took it home and tried it on and found it was much too small. My best man also tried on his tux and realized it was extremely large (he's a skinny guy). We immediately returned to Seno to ask if we could get the sizes that would fit us. The employee we dealt with was extremely rude. She told us that tuxes are meant to be uncomfortable and that she couldn't help the fact that we made a mistake asking for "modern fit" tuxedos. She then told me that it's supposed to be extremely tight and small, and that it looked fine. I had to badger her for a couple of minutes until finally she got me a shirt that fit. She did, however, refuse to find me a sport coat that fit, claiming it was my mistake. When she brought back the shirt, it didn't have an adjustable collar like the shirt I originally was given. I asked for a shirt with the adjustable collar, like the one I was originally given, and she responded by trying to sell me a "button extender" for $5. She also told me ,"some shirts have that, some don't." Once again I had to heckle her until finally she gave in and got me a shirt with the adjuster. During the visit to the store, she was repeatedly rude to me and the best man. Ultimately, she left me with a sport coat that did not fit, and had a bad attitude the entire time. The fact that I was treated with such disrespect at an establishment I was giving my business and the business of all my groomsmen is beyond me. What a horrible store. On top of all this, they changed the contracts after the fact and overcharged half of my groomsmen and tried to tell them that they were full of it when the groomsmen brought the error to light. I will NEVER bring my business to Seno formal wear again, and I would highly advise anyone reading this review to avoid the headache and steer towards a more professional establishment. Thank you for reading.
Upon picking up my tuxedo for a wedding, I was overcharged with no explanation. I found the original contract for the tuxedo that showed the original price and they fought me on the price for about 45 minutes. Their explanation about the price difference was that their system was messed up. However, that was not enough justification for a refund. After going back and forth, they eventually refunded me the difference which they did discover was wrong on their end. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
Very good experience. Time was short and they didn't have the shoes I needed. Somehow they managed to get for me in time. Definitely will recommend and patronize them whenever I can.
To start off, we told the girl at the cash register we were interested in tuxes for a wedding and she sent out a 16 or 17 year old boy to help us. While he did his best trying to show us the styles, I expect a little more experience when renting tuxes for such an important day. This isn't his fault obviously, but a error in judgement with the management at the store.
However, we selected what we thought we liked from the wall, and we thought my fiance could try on the tux. But no! The boy went to ring us up before we had even seen the tux choices together! We asked him to put our selections together so we could see them. Well, after seeing them we decided they weren't impressive at all. The vests looked cheap, and Senos was the most expensive out of the 3 tux stores in Bloomington. Go to Churchills.
