You owe it to yourself to visit to learn more about the civil rights movement through the Selma/Montgomery route. Textbooks doesn't do this history justice.
Eye opening experience. What these folks went through for the right to vote should inspire us all. You’ll never miss another election.
One of my favorite places to learn about the struggle for voting rights!
I'm so thankful for this park. Thank you National Park Service for making it possible.
Well worth visiting. Very knowledgeable staff
Strongly recommend making this drive. We stopped at the interpretive centers at Selma and Lowndes. You'll learn a lot and will appreciate the dedication and faith of the people who marched for democracy.
Wonderful homage to the Civil Rights movement.
