I was here for a fishing tournament. This is a first class facility from the staff at the marina to the lodging at the Shacks.

It’s definitely a family friendly place. They have a pool to lounge around and if you’re feeling more adventurous, you can rent a boat and go scalloping.

Well I don't really know what to say. I tried to check the rates on their web page and I couldn't do it. So I had a friend try from another city and fail. I'm retired and had to drive there, I asked the person at the front desk how much the rates were and they didn't know. They told me to check on the internet. Defiantly the strangest travel experience I've had.
So three Stars for your employees lack of knowledge and antiquated web page. Sorry.

Awesome place. Nice people and very helpful. Great place to come and get away from it all. Love to come up here from Okeechobee. They also have anything you need. Tackle and boat parts.

I think if you rent a lodge, there should be discount for other things like renting the boats. The lodge we stayed in was big enough but was in need of repairs badly, soft spots in the floors, boards covering up who knows in the bathroom, kitchen cabinets falling apart (just old ), stove missing knobs, the stove shelves we're in backwards, sliding glass doors didn't lock, furniture ripped and couch had no legs. The master bedroom I didn't go in my son and wife were in there. The whole room was badly need of a remodel. Thank goodness we weren't in the room much. The rest of the place was nice and the view off of the balcony was great. I wish we were allowed to have been able to look at some of the empty lodges but the lady at the front desk said look on the website. That doesn't show the real story of the room. I spoke with another person who stayed in one of the trailers and she said it was a let down. I will ask to stay in the newer ones next time but I don't think they have another that will hold 10 people. We enjoyed our fishing and caught a bunch. Had a great time.

Great place to base your visit at, accommodations are excellent, they have supplies and services you would expect for a full service marina and resort. Staff is knowledge, friendly and helpful. Clean, neat and organized.

Wonderful place to rent a boat, shop for souvenirs, or go out on a fishing/scalloping trip. Between the 6 of us, we caught 170 pounds of red snapper, Florida snapper, grouper, and sea bass! This is a must when visiting Steinhatchee!

Best place in Steinhatchee to enjoy a beer. Come in the afternoon when the fishermen are bringing in their catch. Free entertainment!

Pros: Very convenient if you have a charter heading out of the marina. The pool is very nice and it looks like they are adding more amenities to it. Rooms are clean.

Cons: The "shacks" really are that. Peeling paint, coffee maker - but no coffee. I was hoping for more at this price point.

Great trip to the Sea Hag. We stayed in the "Trout" cabin #10. It was great! This was one of the newer cabins. It was VERY nice. The staff at the marina was great. Chase was great help and a true asset. We will be booking again in September.
