Went last Sunday before a Pacers game. We were told 5 minute wait for a table. 20+ minutes later, we asked how much longer. They said 30 minutes, and tried to add us to the bottom of the waiting list. They said our name wasn't on the list (a lie, because I watched her type it in). We pretty well demanded to be seated at one of the many empty tables (this one had been empty a while because I saw the people leave). Then the waitress was kind enough to tell us the kitchen was slow and we might not get our food by game time. So we ended up leaving and eating concession stand food at the game. The hostess showed no remorse and acted like it was our fault. Maybe old fashioned methods for waiting lists would work better than their fancy iPad & text message system, because that doesn't work! I'll never go back.

We visited Sunday afternoon before the Pacers game. Like we have done many times before a game. It took 40 min to get boneless wings and fries. When our food arrived, it was cold. The manager's excuse was that her kitchen was short staffed, which explained the wait, but not the cold food. Her solution was to warm it back up for us. We asked her to take the food away. To top the whole experience off, the server tossed the bill at us and never apologized. We paid for our drinks and purchased hot chicken tenders and fries at the game for less than Scottys charged and it was a better sized portion.

They handled a large crowd in for the Big 10 Championship with ease. Food came out timely and was cooked to order. Drink orders taken and served quickly. Top notch service too! Highly recommend.

I work downtown in the Regions Tower and normally have good service at the downtown location for lunch, but, this day was very different. I ordered the Unlimited Soup and Salad thinking it would a good light lunch and the soups are usually very good. I am not sure what the entire issue was because I have seen the place with more customers than there was today, but, in the hour and fifteen minutes I was there I only received one (1) salad and two (2) small cups of soup. For some people this would probably be enough, but not me. We would go 10 minutes or more without seeing our server, one person would get a water refill but not the other three of us who were drinking water, food orders were incorrect, and service took entirely too long. I know a salad and a cup of soup are no big deal, trust me, my wife works at Cafe Patachou and they are very efficient in soup and salad. Why I had to wait 45 minutes on a cup of soup is something I will ponder for a long time. The Scotty's Brewhouse I have the best service at anymore is the 96th Street location, all the rest seem their level of service is dropping quickly. Sorry but I will not be returning to this location in the future.

Great outdoor seating. Ambiance was chill, casual, and welcoming. The food was great. Always try the monthly burger special, you can't go wrong. The service is hit or miss but the food makes up for it.

Food was good, but overall experience was not. It was the weekend of Gen Con and we were there to see Five Year Mission play. The wait for a table outdoors was long, even though we got there early. Some of my group ordered drinks while we waited which messed up the waitstaff and when it was time to leave the waitress who had gotten drinks still had his credit card. Groups were seated with the same number of people as us with 2 tables pulled together and we were 6 crowded around a 4-top. We have always enjoyed our experience at Scotty's during Gen-Con, Indy Pop Con, and other geeky conventions down town, but we will be finding a new place to gather with friends.

Scotty's is a staple for gen con. They do a great job theming their menu and making us feel at home. The restaurant has a great beer list and is always playing a movie which is nice. Their food is good but nothing special. Plenty of options to make everyone happy.

Very interesting food choices here. They offer new and unique (and customizable) burgers, and they have pretty much any alcoholic beverage you want. There is plenty of other types of food and drinks too, but you're probably best to come for the burgers, beer, and sports. My burger of choice (as pictured) was called Red, White, and Blue. It had: Burger, Caramelized onions, Blueberry barbecue sauce, and Blue cheese. It was surprisingly good! The blueberry barbecue sauce is displayed prominently in the photo.

Great place. Very welcoming. Great selection of craft beers. Staff is very enthusiastic. Indy Dave is the best!

Great beers and great service. Seriously, this place rocks! Unique burgers and food combos. It's not your ordinary brewhouse/restaurant. If you are in Indianapolis, GO HERE!

Typical bar food. Definitely not bad. I am however disappointed because I wanted to bring a large party up for dinner before a concert and they online menu has no prices. Just lost a party of 12 for something so simple

Terrible service. Slow. Food isn't freshly made during peak hours, it sits too long under a heat lamp, noticably frozen and then microwaved food, expect fried foods (fries, etc) to be cold and dry. I have been here almost a dozen times and it's always the same. Business lunches keep bringing me back and I dread coming here. Last visit we were a table of six and we waited over two hours for our food to come out during lunch. My burger was so overcooked and dry that I spat it out. My bun was crunchy and my fries were cold. I asked for creamer six times and never got it. I left hungry and annoyed, as usual. Name any other pub in downtown Indy and it will be better than Scotty's, hands down.

I've been several times during the week and usually decent service. Went with a group of friends on a Saturday night and service was atrocious. Waited 40 min to be seated. Once seated it was 30min (No exaggeration) before anyone came to take drink orders and another hour for everyone to get their drinks. Was so irritated we were getting ready to pay for drinks and leave but a manager did try and make up for our frustration. That to was a fail. Once we got our food the chips were stale and burger had to be sent back because it was so burnt it wasn't edible. Very, very disappointed. Will not be interested in going back anytime soon and would have a hard time recommending them on the weekend.

The staff seem very good always pleased with them! The food is decent. I wouldn't call it world-class bar food, but it won't disappoint either if you're looking for "solid" bar-food.
