Stay here only if all other motels are full or you really can't afford anything else. It was not dirty but the place has clearly seen better days. The WiFi was not usable. I had to open the toilet tank to reconnect the chain and get it to flush. The light over the sink did not work. There was a chair in the room that should have been sent to the dump years ago it was so torn up. The bed was rock hard. The controls on the HVAC did not work but fortunately it was a pleasant night and I did not really need heat or AC. There was a mini-fridge in the room that did seem to work well.

Stopped here for a night while on my way back from getting my Marine and it was clean and prices were great! They let me check out my room before I booked and were so helpful letting us know good eats in the area!

Bed bugs in the beds. Smelled disgusting in the room. Drug deals all around. Asked for a refund, they gave it to me, but it's been over a week and I'm still waiting for the money to go back on card

I give two stars only because I like the people that run it very friendly kind always laughing joking and smilingwith everyone the people in the office takes time to hear your story what brings you to the Scottish inn Gene is so professional, kind, caring, and will go out of his way and help a stranger, also he will always make you feel like your a part of a family, He make you feel like you are at home in his house.He is so thoughtful welcoming everyone I may not like the condition of the placeI come back because it's like I come to visit family..Gene and Gorge have been like brothers to meever sense I have been in Tennesseewhen my car broke down I call and big brother came to helpthank you to the management thank you to Gene And Gorge.may you all be bless with happiness always

Ripped off! The billboard said $38, so I decided to stop for a short rest at 2:25am. I told the man I was staying 2.5 hours and driving on, but he charged me $53.22. So, false advertisement to get me in, but not even a courtesy late check-in like many others. Next, he repeated after me, "non-smoking," but the room was so full of smoke I was nauseous. I stayed out of the bathroom because there were cockroaches everywhere when I turned the light on. I slept in my clothes because I was afraid of the bugs in the room & kept my shoes on because the carpet (I think it was) had disintegrated into a black, something that stuck to my shoes. I should have gone back to the front desk and asked for a refund, but I was already an idiot letting him rip me off with the charges and just could not drive any further. Sleeping in my car at a truck stop would have been better than staying here. I DO NOT recommend no matter how desperate you are.

Its cheap motel pricing and for that you get a cheap motel. Room, bathroom and sheets were clean and the room was cleaned during my stay (2 nights/1 day). There's fridge, microwave, tv. Bed was comfortable. I didn't use the pool.
I think maybe bedsheets have been changed +/- redecoration done since the terrible reviews- I didn't recognise what they said during my stay.report this review -

Was a good stay. Gene the Night Desk Clerk was Awesome and the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend this place and will visit again.

They are renovating the hotel. New mattress and bedding. But the room had a pet odor. Good enough for the price.

Anybody who tells you this hotel is decent is straight out lying to you, we were in two different rooms, both ABSOLUTELY infested with roaches, burn holes in sheets, curtains, the beds were so awful we wouldn't even sleep under their comforter, my husband was awakened one night because a cock roach was crawling across his face, we slept with ear plugs in so the roaches didn't get in our ears. And the shower was beyond gross, in BOTH rooms, the faucets were broke, and burn holes all over the tub, it was so bad we had to go to the truck stop next door to shower. We paid for a week, but didn't stay. The manager was an absolute jerk, we didn't complain about anything, but when we changed rooms the t.v. was broke and he acted like it was our fault. Guys, PLEASE DON'T waste your money here ESPECIALLY if you have children. I'm not trying to be hateful, but this is the WORST hotel I've ever seen, also the floors are uneven, and the carpet is stained and filthy..no upkeep whatsoever. If I could rate this a zero I would. There was nothing nice I can say about this place

Cheap and only moderately clean. They offer extended stay and a pool though.

The room stunk and the sheets had a huge but mark in it, but other than that the service was pretty good.

It was fun, like waking back into the early 90s. And the bed was really nice, especially after starting at the econo Lodge with their uncomfortable bed
