They did a great job on the upholstery and putting the new motor on! The engine had some problems later and it took them 3 weeks to get it fixed. Unfortunately, the fuel pump wasn't the only issue. Currently we are waiting to hear back from them. They have had the boat since the first week of September this time. I did stop by to check on it about 10 days ago but our problem still isn't solved. I do think they are nice but communication and turn around could be better.

As a first time boat owner I was taken advantage of by a couple of other "larger" company's before being referred to The Sand Bar.. I Definitely recommend this place. Not only did they work with me on the cost for the repairs, but they will teach and explain things to you in order to help prevent costly repairs in the future. If you own a boat you already know the cost of upkeeping it.. These guys will take care of you. Solid work, and better prices.. I'll never go anywhere else Thanks guys 🤙 and I'll be back for that wake tower and sound system

I want to strongly warn everyone from entrusting Sand Bar with your equipment and lives. They lack integrity, responsibility, and commitment. You equipment will be worse off than when it went to their shop and cost you more than agreed, and be their longer than they said it would be. These people only want your money and care nothing about your safety. They will seek to justify their work and blame the customer for miscommunication. The word is spreading quickly and broadly about the various dangers of Sand Bar.

I chose this place because it’s close to my house and they were the only shop in my area to return my call. I needed some important repairs done and I gave em a try. They explained in detail that it would be a week or more before they got to it. I was ok with that and actually expected it to take a longer. I did read all the reviews but come on when it comes to this kind of stuff you never know what they are going to find inside. Surprisingly they had my boat done in the exact amount of time they told me and they did the work for 30% less than one other place I talked to. I even let them go ahead and install a new kicker marine audio system in because the price he gave me compared to what I had found on my own was way too good to pass up. The audio sounds great. They even kept all of the old parts they replaced to show me what they had done. You other people that have left negative reviews maybe not telling the whole story. I certainly haven’t experienced anything of that nature here at Sand Bar. I’m happy and as long as they keep it this way with me they will have my business! Thanks Shannon and crew!
