Dustin was on time and very efficient and professional. Most of all, and the reason for the review, he patiently and gladly answered ALL my questions. It was clear to me Dustin loves teaching about chimneys as much as I love teaching about Jesus. It is refreshing to find someone these days to be on time, do a good job, and love their work!

This was our first time to use a chimney sweeping service -- but, we learned that they do so much MORE! We needed someone to inspect, test, fix or do whatever was necessary to make our "not-been-used-in-a-long-time gas logs in our fireplace" operable and safe! Richardo came from Nature's Own at the Dallas' store direction. He did an amazing job for us! Not only was he professional, knowledgeable, and careful in everything he was doing, he was considerate and personable. Richardo completed his work for us efficiently and gave us complete instructions and an analysis of what we had! He left us in great shape having given us full confidence in our fireplace gas logs again! Nature's Own is on our go to list for any of the needs they list that they can do!!!

In early December Nature's Own  sent Dustin to clean and inspect my fireplace and clothes dryer vent. The work was completed quickly and professionally, and I was impressed that the Dustin took extra precautions to keep my house clean and undamaged. During his chimney inspection, Dustin noticed that mortar was missing between some flue tiles inside the chimney, and he showed me pictures he had taken of some of the problem areas where they were cracked. He explained that the cracks between the tiles could let smoke and creosote to escape the flue, which could greatly increase the risk of a chimney fire hazard. Dustin recommended repairing or replacing the flue tiles to correct this problem. I agreed to make these repairs, Dustin came to my home a week later to make the repairs.  I was very impressed with everyone I spoke to at Nature's Own, both the crew and the office staff, were completely willing to answer my questions to my satisfaction without getting frustrated with my 1000 questions, even providing additional information that helped me understand the process, how it would be done, and why it was necessary. During the repairs the crew was always willing to let me look over their shoulder as they provided our repair work, and they helped me inspect the fireplace (from the bottom and the top) before, during, and after the work had been done and provided many pictures.. I watched as they began removing the flue tiles, and I could see for myself that smoke was on the2x4 that contain the structure of the flue. The gaps between the flue tiles really had allowed smoke to escape., so the potential for a flue fire was real. After the repairs were completed, I saw for myself that as a result of the new, smooth flue liner, the "parging", and the other work that was completed, my chimney's interior was much smoother. etc), and so my fireplace should "draw" better, leading to an easier to start a fire, fewer maintenance issus, and better overall performance. The best part of this work was the staff, at nature's own all of whom were friendly, professional, courteous, and competent. Also it wasn't the cheapest. But the work took nearly two full days, and I feel so much better becausebased on my own observations of the work that was done. I recommend Nature's Own Chimney services without hesitation, and I will continue to use them to clean and maintain my fireplace and dryer vent.

The gentleman that came out showed up on time for our appointment and had a great customer service personality. I didn't catch his name but he is a great attribute to your company. He was great explaining everything and showed us everything about the fireplace and how to use it. We never had a fireplace before and i had a hundred question and he was so patient and attentive to all of them. We feel a lot more comfortable now using our fireplace. Thank you for sending such a great employee to our home and for providing such an exceptional job.

I've never received such bad service in my entire life.

I had chimney work done in November 2019. I called a week after to have someone come inspect the work as I believed it had been done poorly. I left a message with customer service to have a supervisor call me and never heard back. I then emailed customer service a few weeks later and never received a response. It was not until October 2020 (almost a YEAR LATER) that I finally heard back after calling once a month or so and leaving a message for a supervisor to call me (after being told they would not give me a supervisor's number) when the repair person came to redo the work that was done originally. I finally spoke with a supervisor today who informed me I cannot receive a refund for work that was not complete, even after their own repair person who came in October 2020 told me the work was horrible, the person who originally did the work was terminated, and that the only item he repaired was the exterior tuck. I did have roofers come out in between the original date the chimney work was done and the date they came back, and the roofers fixed the part of the ROOF around the chimney. The supervisor tried saying the black material smeared all over the chimney in the picture shown below was from the roofer, but I have the dated pictures and videos from right after their chimney service showing the black material all over my chimney. I continued to receive excuses and a lack of accepting accountability.

I asked if I could be refunded for at least the amount of work their own employee admitted was not done and was told no. Through all discussions, the supervisor stood by their customer service and the work performed. I am in total shock and hope to spare anyone else from this treatment. Below are further details:

I was quoted $200 to fix a crack in the back panel, $300 for an exterior tuck, and $200 for a flash seal. My quote was given after they did a chimney sweep and inspection and said that the mortar needed to be totally redone (which was what they explained the tucking was), that the crack ran the full height of the fireplace, and that they would paint the inside of the fireplace after sealing it. When the two people showed up to repair the chimney, they didn't even fill the correct crack in the chimney, and I had to point it out to them. The cracks they did fill were done horribly and very messy. The "exterior tuck" consisted of them pulling a brick out that had been pushed through and filling it in with the same material that was used to fill the crack inside the chimney and nothing else. The flash seal looks like tar was rubbed messily around the outside of the chimney. After they finished, I asked about painting the interior of the fireplace, and they said they didn't have the paint and would have to come back. They said they would come back the next morning between 7:45-8 am. The next morning, I took off work and no one showed up or called and was 1.5 hours late when he finally did show up. The person who showed up gave no apology and went to paint the inside and mentioned it was his first week on the job (I wouldn't think you should send someone brand new to a job on their own, so I don't blame him). He painted over the mess they had left the prior day and got paint on the hearth of my fireplace (did not lay down a tarp or anything). He left with no apology or attempt to clean up the paint or mention of it. I was told to wait 24 hours before using the fireplace. We waited a month at least and just used the fireplace. All material that was used to fill the cracks burned and cracked off immediately.

This is the worst service I've received, and I would have never agreed to the quoted amounts if I knew the level of service that would be provided and how little would be done compared to the explanations of work I was given.
