If you are into local history with European conections check it out.
Great place to learn the history of ST.Marks. Movie is a great addition and park workers were friendly and considerate.
The park staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. While there is not a gift shop as such, they do have a nice selection of both free historical brochures and books (on local topics) available for purchase. The video on the history of the fort is a must-see.
This is an amazing and entertaining historical attraction for all ages. The recreations are astounding and the staff (in period garb) are totally engaging. This is not to be missed. Just seeing the recreation of the too big to be believed Apalachee council house is worth the very reasonable admission fee. The orientation movie and classy museum are bonuses.
The history of this place is amazing. I take my kids here to either play, picnic, or both pretty frequently. If you are in the area you must stop here as the historical significance this quaint little confluence has is pretty amazing. There are graves of Andrew Jackson's soldiers, and flags flying from the many different nations that called this place their own.
