The parking has improved. I don't think the long term parking garage was thought out to well however. The walkway over to the airport really should have been underground as well or overhead. It is extremely dangerous sometimes walking across there between the short term and long term garage. Sometimes I wonder if they should put barricades up. Making long term parkers turn in before the walkway to park in the garage. They can exit on the other side of the walkway. that way there is a walkaway with no traffic allowed to pass through.

The food options are not bad. The security line is always short. I've never seen it long. There is no where enough seating nor power outlets.

‘Improvements’ include going through a 3D maze to get to Terminal B. Gates B7 and B8 are.a cluster. Whoever engineered this must be on drugs or just enjoys forcing people to do frustrating things.

Very efficient airport. It was my first time visiting & love the flow of it. Rental car area is fantastic. I can see they are doing a lot of renovation which will make the facility even better. Can’t wait to visit the beautiful City of San Antonio again!

Small but nicely maintained airport. You have counters at the entrance for web check-in passengers and kiosk for others for collecting boarding passes and baggage tags to make the process speedy. However Security checks takes bit time. You have gift shops and hotels after security checks. All place is neatly maintained too.

The more they do, the worse it getsI have been flying I to SA airport regularly for the past 4 years and infrequently before thatthe terminal itself is simple and well laid out however the parking is absolutely atrociousIt's a maze of long and short term parking buildings, elevators down, across a tunnel, escalators up and then find your terminalthe design is practically criminal with few signs to point you in the right directionadditionally, due to the terminal being of the smaller size, airplanes are stored in a sort of parking area if they are not needed right after landing and later towed from the parking area to the terminalwell this morning, while being towed from the parking area, one of the Delta employees somehow activated the emergency exit slide on our flight and now the entire, every seat booked, flight from San Antonio to Atlanta is strandedeven the captain of the flight announced to all the passengers that there is no way to know when the flight may actually leave, then the customer service number was announced over headafter speaking with the Delta customer service rep (who English was a second language for) we now have a new flight at the end of the day and will get to our destination 11 hours later than plannedI am grateful that my wife and I will get to our destination on the same day as we were originally scheduled.

Delta's service and comfort has been in decline for the latter half of 2017 and after a year of dealing with the construction around the SA airport I would have expected more

Bottom linedo not fly out of San Antonio airportdecent enough to fly into, but why even bother do that if you can't get out of itit sucks but just drive to Austin or Houston and fly out of thereeven if I had wasted time driving I would have still made it to my destination faster.

The San Antonio airport is small for being in a major city, but it gets the job done! When the construction is done it will be a nice upgrade. Very limited food service, especially for early morning flights.

Nice airport. Quick lines and great people behind the counters. Security people were the least friendly I have run into in a while and I was there at 7am, so they were fairly fresh on their shift

How is that dunking donuts is only on one terminal??????? We can't even go to that terminal if we scheduled on a flight with certain airlines. Is there a possibility to put it on a centered/central area/spot? Common san Antonio Airport, I know you can do better 🤔🤔🤔

Construction makes this place currently the worst.
I missed my flight even though I was already an hour early for a 6am flight. Why? The ticket dispenser for parking was down. Only two lanes were open and they were manually writing tickets. I was waiting in line behind 15 cars.

Now I had to park on the 4th floor , and wait on one working elevator. As of this review it is still not working. I could have walked down the stairs with one carry on and two check ins. That didn't occur to me until 8 minutes of waiting. Factor in 10 minute speed walk and another 15 min through security.

Sadly to say I missed my flight. Note to all, get there an a half or two hours early to be safe.

This is one of the better airports I have been to. I've done a decent amount of traveling and they have one of the easiest lay outs here. You also don't have to wait all that long for security. With a cell phone lot for waiting picking someone up after their flight is simple.

As many others have stated, this is a small airport for the size of San Antonio and is constantly under construction. Always be on the lookout for changes and plan for a little extra traffic just in case. However, because it is small, it makes for a very easy and simple process whether you're flying somewhere, landing, picking someone up, or dropping them off. Very easy to follow signs. I have never had any problems at this airport, and I have had to utilize the airport on many occasions. Not the best airport in the world, but you will have a good experience flying in or out of here.

For such a large city, this airport is terrible. It's been under construction for as long as I can remember. It should have been moved to one of the closed air bases long ago. It's landlocked on some very valuable real estate with neighbors who complain about the noisy jets. Still, somebody is making some big bucks keeping it where it is and renovating continuously. It would have been a hub ages ago but the landing strips are too short for the big planes so folks still have to go to Dallas or Houston to catch a big plane to get somewhere else. And everything, food, shops, etc closes by 10 so if you get stuck or bumped, make sure you have some snacks

Constant construction. Please make the cell phone waiting on the right hand side b4 pick up, tiny sign to Airport off of 410 they need to make it bigger and more of them for tourists on directions Inside is nice. More vending machines would be nice since everything is closed at certain hr. If you have a 24 hr airport everything should be open!

San Antonio International is a relatively small airport in a city that is increasingly outgrowing it. At the moment though it's still a fast, efficient, and comfortable hub to travel in and out of. It's unfortunately that they've closed off the upper deck (departures) during the evening as it made a picking people up much easier. Now the lower level (arrivals/baggage) is excessively crowded and crazy.
