I am happy with my Ford and would purchase a Ford vehicle again however, this location REALLY needs to sort out their service department. I dropped my car off on a Friday to have my shock absorbers replaced and was told that the parts would be in Monday afternoon.
Never received a call Monday. I had to call them to find out the parts didn't come in yet. That's fine. It's almost Christmas and I know UPS and Fedex are slow this time of year because of all the packages.
I had to call again Tuesday and left a message. Never received a call back.
I called again Wednesday and was told the parts would be in, that they were on the Fedex truck that would be delivered that morning. Never received a call for the rest of Wednesday.
I called today and left a message at 2PM. I was never offered a loaner vehicle the entire time my car has been at the service department.
I am a patient person but when your service people don't communicate and I have to be the one to call in, and they don't even offer me a loaner, what am I supposed to think? I have been without a car since 12/18/2017it is now 12/21/2017 and I am no closer to getting the simple repair I needed AND I HAVE NOT BEEN OFFERED A LOANER CAR DURING THIS ENTIRE TIME. Not happy.
Whoever reads this review at Sam Galloway, you let me know who I need to talk to regarding this and I will call.
I haven't been happy with Galloway for some time now, my latest experience was the last draw. I made an appointment for the recall of the airbags, I was given the date Nov. 13, I was called on Nov. 10 to confirm my time, 7:30 Monday morning. When I arrived they took the car and about 20 to 30 minutes later I was informed the part was not in. Why didn't they tell me that when they called to make sure I was there,. This is just one problem I have had. My family are all Ford people and have worked for years for Ford, this kind of service gives Ford a bad name. As you can imagine I am not pleased with your service. Judy Brda
Sam Galloway Ford provides excellent service time and time again. I have purchased Fords from Sam Galloway Ford for at least 20 years now and have had my vehicles serviced at Sam Galloway Ford service center and have never been disappointed. Hats off to Homer Person who has taken such great care of me and my vehicles. Congratulations on your promotion, its very much deserved.
I've been with Sam Galloway for over 13 years and have seen a dramatic decline in the service department. I have purchased personal and commercial vehicles in the past. The last vehicle I purchased was a used Ford Flex(2013). I purchased the extended warranty, maintenance plan and even the added plan for major repairs that would only cost me a $100.00 deductible. Not to mention the GAP insurance. Shelly in sales is great(it's sales, they need to be great or they don't prosper). The service department is ALWAYS overwhelmed. When there is an issue it takes 7-10 days to even get an appointment. Within 1 month(hadn't even made my 1st payment) I had problems with the condenser on my air conditioner. I have had it in the service department multiple times(each time needing to leave it for an entire day or even a few days) and the service adviser tells me the same thing, " I understand your frustration, but we can't seem to find anything" Bob(Service manager) has been more understanding and has permitted the option to have a rental car for the dealerships price. It has been a real hassle. I'm curious if I didn't have the extended warranty or plan if they would tell me the condenser or something needed to be replaced. I've purchased it and the plans, so I'm pretty much stuck with it until I can possible get out of the upside-down position I put myself in. The car looks terrific and fits the needs of my family, but the noises it makes is embarrassing while dropping/picking my children up, going through drive-thru's or stopped at a red light. Yes, I'm the one next to you with the noisy sounding car. I just took it in again this morning and hopefully something different can be done. I'll keep you posted, but at this particular moment, I would not recommend using the service department even if it was covered by warranty. ******UPDATE****10/23/17****Service Manager, Homer Person, contacted me and we were able to come to a reasonable reconciliation with respect to the non-covered part. They have to order the part and then call to schedule. I will keep you advised of the situation. Moving from a 1 star to a strong 3 star******UPDATE*****11/2/17***Well here I am 2 weeks later and no call from service to schedule the non-covered part. Homer Person informed me my adviser, Frank Beers, would call me when the part was in to schedule. Funny, the day I took my car in 11/20/17 and was informed of the non-covered part, I was told it would take a week to come in and we could schedule. That was when I was going to pay full price and before talking with Homer Person. Once again, the poor communication in service is prevalent. At this point, I'm going to have to call Sam Galloway, hope not to be disconnected or sent to the wrong department, to find out if the part has in fact come in and hopefully schedule the install. Moving from strong 3 stars, to weak 2 stars. I will keep you posted.

Tyrone, sales, at Galloway Lincoln really listened and valued my situation. He prompted a satisfactory solution and outcome with service department manager, Randy. It was frustrating until that time.Team work at its finest. Happy ending for sure
I want to be clear: this is not a review of Galloway’s mechanic service department or their sales department. As a long time customer, I can say that those departments have always been great, at least for me.
However my recent Auto Butler service was less than desirable. Typically, the Auto Butler service details the outside of the car, however, there’s an option to have them clean and vacuum the inside as well. I requested this option and it was written on the service order. After waiting for a few hours (normal), I got the car back. The outside looked very nice, though I failed to see the difference between this service and paying for a wax job at a car wash and waiting half the length of time. Sadly, the inside wasn’t addressed at all. On top of that, the drivers seat was wet with sweat and smelled like body odor. I was wearing two shirts (a button-down and an undershirt) and the dampness had gone through both of them by the time I got home. Very unprofessional. When I got home, I sprayed down the drivers seat with a febreeze/Lysol combo. It was that bad. Disgusting.
While I will continue to use Galloway for service, I do not see the need to use the Auto Butler anymore. I understand it’s a separate company, but they share space with Galloway, the appointment is made with Galloway and the car is dropped off to a Galloway service advisor, so I feel that Galloway has a responsibility in this matter.
I’d rather spend the money at the car wash. At least there, I know they will vacuum and wash the inside as well as the outside—and I’ve never once got the car back with seats that were damp from sweat, smelling like body odor.
I've done business with Sam Galloway Ford for over 20 years now and I have not once been disappointed with their entire scope of service. In particular, Ken Fox is fantastic to work with and he has gone way above and beyond for me every 3 years, when it's time to trade in my lease, for the last 12+/- years. Ken is fun to work with, and he never fails to make me leave Sam Galloway Ford with a smile. Thanks Ken Fox!
We went to Galloway for information on a new Lincoln. Our lease was coming due on one so we decided to see how they were to deal with. I must say that Daniel Smock our salesman was fantastic to deal with! Daniel Smock was very thorough in laying out all the options and best rebates and deals going. He is excellent with follow-up and in asking questions to help find deals. He knows the vehicles extremely well and is very kind and honest. I would recommend Daniel Smock to everyone I know.
I had a 15,000 mile check done and it went very smoothly. Made an appointment which was very prompt, and it took less time than anticipated while I waited. The person who handled my info before and gave me the report after was very friendly and professional.
Only one comment about the waiting area - it was WAY too cold!! Several people commented on this.
Otherwise, I appreciate the nice places to sit and work which is what I did.
I just purchased a truck from Sam Galloway and have to say this was the best car buying experience I've ever had. The salesman I got to work with was Dino Clements, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. When I first came to the dealership, they didn't have the exact truck that I was looking for. Instead of trying to get me to buy a vehicle I wouldn't be happy with, Dino and his manager, Ken Jordan, worked with me to locate the truck and get it there as quickly as they could. This is the type of service that every salesperson should strive to imitate. If you are planning to purchase a vehicle from Sam Galloway, I recommend you ask to work with Dino as he'll make sure your experience is as great as mine!
We bought our first vehicle from Sam Galloway Ford and the experience was fantastic. Robert Vary was our salesman and he was very professional and understanding. At no point did we feel pressured through any of the process, we were able to stay within our budget and love our new vehicle. If your going to be buying a car new or used in the near future I would highly recommend stopping by and asking for Robert. Keep it up guys, we'll be back!
Paul Judson was most helpful and patient in helping me choose the correct Expedition. Trade in was smooth and paperwork was completed prior to my picking up vehicle. Paul also spent a generous amount of time orienting me to the Expedition's controls and navigation system. I felt that I had a good start in learning to drive a vehicle and learning systems that are new to me.
I am most grateful to Paul for kindly involving my accompanying elderly relative in all discussions and explanations.
