  I do not like leaving bad reviews for any business but my experience at this salon was awful. The staff was not welcoming and I wish I would have left before I sat in the chair to get my hair cut. I showed the cosmetologist, Miranda, pictures of what I wanted and got something horrendous. I'm especially disappointed with this because she asked me before she started cutting if I wanted long layers, and I said, "yes like the pictures." There is clearly a 1 inch gap between the top and bottom layer on the left side and a 2 inch gap between them on the right, totally crooked. It looks as if she didn't even try blending them together either. My hair looks like it got chopped off by a child. Maybe it's because she kept talking to other people and walking away from her client. I will not be returning to give them my business.
  Save your money and your hair, go to a different salon.

  Incredible staff and services. I enjoyed a pampering experience complete with professional highlights, hour long massage, manicure and pedicure and left with amazing products from Aveda. I can not say enough about the quality and elevated service this team brings to this small lakeshore town. What a local gem!

  Salon 22 did my bridal party's hair and made up. Hair was awesome. Did not care for the make up, poor quality.

  Majel always provides wonderful services. Whether it's color,a difficult cut, or fabulous lashes. Majel has helped me transition into many different looks. Her knowledge of hair and cutting techniques are spot on. I always refer Majel to as many people as I can because I know she will proved them with a great services. Majel is very knowledgeable especially when it comes to color and many other services they have at Salon 22!

  Love this place! I wasn't sure what I wanted before I went in, but my stylist guided me. I ended up with an amazing haircut and the color I desired. I highly recommend Salon 22! Very inviting and friendly staff!

  Majel Cosenza has "16 years experience" she did not achieve the look I wanted after assuring me she was experienced enough. I had to go in for multiple sessions to leave with hair that is nothing like what I desired. She didn't allow enough time for my hair to process and absorb the color I was going for and she requested payment before my hair was complete. Naïvely I paid thinking that my follow up session would leave me with my desired results. Instead I was brought in for a third session and after was recommended to come back in three weeks to reprocess. When I go into a salon I expect the hair technician with as many years experience as Majel to at least come close to my desired look, or at least be up front and honest with lack of experience and refer me to someone who knows what they are doing! I paid good money for my services and I am left feeling extremely disappointed and worried that the salon itself would allow one of their employees to charge such rates and support them to further damage their clients hair. I decided to leave this review after I had found out through other acquaintances that they were left displeased with her service as well. I can only hope that by leaving this review I can save others from disappointment and damage to their hair.
