This school is a joke. First the people at the offices are rude. Secondly, the international office, CIE it’s horrible at informing international students. Whoever works there, it’s not that they don’t know how to do their job, they just don’t care about you. They do not tell you useful information. They do not take time to explain how every process goes. I had to figure out everything myself. I graduated from Salem State, and I’m glad, I am sooooo glad I’m over. Make sure when your OPT arrives everything is correct, after the OPT you will receive a plastic card, employment authorization. REMEMBER at the office they will not tell you that you have to report at USCIS after you find a job. Oh and most importantly they will not tell you, that after receiving the Authorization card, you have to apply at Social Security office for your SSN.

Was a guest lecturer and was made to feel at home by most of the staff and faculty. However, their campus police were a major disappointment and very much a power trip on their part.

COMMUTER PARKING TICKET $125 - I AM SHOCKED HOW MUCH THESE STATE SCHOOL EXPLOIT THEIR STUDENTS.

STUDENT LOANS INTEREST - UP

now the also almost TRIPLED the cost of the commuter parking stickers to $125!!!!!!

What are you thinking? WE ARE STUDENTS NOT BILLIONAIRES!

DO NOT STUDY AT THIS SCHOOL!!!!! YOU ARE BETTER OFF AT A MORE PRESTIGIOUS SCHOOL IN BOSTON WHERE YOU WILL PAY JUST AS MUCH!

You can get a great education here--the faculty are dedicated and there's lot of great opportunities. However, the price continues to skyrocket from when I went here. Do two years first at a community college and save yourself $10000s.

I graduated from Salem State in 2015 and had a great experience. The campus has a unique vibe and I always felt comfortable there. I learned a lot in my business classes, met great people, and most of my professors were wonderful. Financial aid and navigator need a different set up, but that's about it. If you apply yourself, you'll do great here!
