Food was awesome! However I thought I ordered New York Style Gyro. Thinking it would come in a pita bread style, although a generous portion of gyro came with no pita bread on a bed of rice. Will definitely come back!
Amazing, homemade, made-to-order food. It's worth the wait.
When we entered, the restaurant was nearly empty. Two booths were in use and two drivers were waiting for orders to deliver. There wasn't an employee in sight. The place was very clean but devoid of any decor of note. One of the delivery people told us just to sit wherever we wanted, so we did. We discussed whether or not to stay. I'm glad we stayed.
My partner ordered Moroccan tea. I ordered the Mediterranean Appetizer Plate for us to share. The tea took about ten minutes to prepare and was an amazing melange of tea, mint, and other herbs. It was unsweetened and needed no sugar. The waiter brought two cups and the pot held three cups of tea.
The appetizer platter contained generous servings of baba ganoush and hummus, a salad if chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, and herbs, three falafel, and one meat-filled, chickpea encrusted and deep fried item that was incredibly flavorful. All this was served with piping hot naan.
Our main courses were Goat Karahi, Lamb Tikka, and Tabbouleh. The goat was tender and well spiced in a thick tomato stew. The lamb was also tender and well seasoned. The tabbouleh was fresh, bright from lemon juice, and without a single grain of sand- a real accomplishment with curly parsley! We also had an order of garlic naan.
There was more food than we could finish. I will gladly return again and again.
Amazing food, excellent service. The food was sooo delicious. We ordered chapli kabab, maash daal, chicken karahi and paya (goat) along with salad that was freshly cut. Everything was perfectly cooked to perfection. I requested to meet the cook and was delighted to find out that she was an adorable lady from Peshawar Pakistan. We finished everything we put in our plates. I am attaching pictures of the food and our clean plates. The tea was served in China cups unlike foam cups in many places that is harmful for health. The tea was doodh patti style meaning the brewed tea and milk were cooked together for sometime. The owner is very personable and came to our table and spoke to us for quite some time. They care about their customers. I would come here again and again. I give this place 5 stars for excellent food and excellent service.
Nice place, good food. The staff is also very friendly. They do dine in, take out and delivery Prices are reasonable.
The menu looked attractive. The place is being rebranded and they have two menus. One the Salateen menu and the new Mirchi menu. According to the owner it should get consolidated with the best from both. Well the food was just fresh and fantastic. It’s been long since I had something authentic from any Pakistani/Indian cuisine. Super happy with the food an the prices are perfect.
