Donnette and Jim are real horse people, what an amazing facility they run there! We've had the pleasure of boarding our horse there with them and can honestly say it's undoubtedly the best run barn in the state! The shows and clinics they put on there are well run and absolutely beautiful! They are a class act and we're lucky to have them and this barn in Utah. I would definitely refer them to anyone looking for a first class facility for their horses!

I first heard of Sage Creek through the BLM and their Impact show back in 2013. I enjoyed the methods they take in training for the horsemanship and bonding experiences. I started taking lessons with my mustang mare after moving to UT from WY with Jim Hicks in September 2015. We were an established team but needed to rewrite our agreement and Jim has helped Exceptionally with that effort. I liked the lessons so much my 12 year old daughter decided she wanted lesson in Dressage with Donnette Hicks. We drive from Lake Point to Heber 2x a month for lessons because of the exceptional quality and understanding they provide. If you want to go places with your equine partner, this is the barn to go to folks. Love, Love, Love their methods!!

Speaking from my personal experience, one will find themselves in a constant state of inner peace at Sage Creek Equestrian. It is in fact a place of growth and awareness for everyone. It is a rare an unique experience that is transforming and awakening for every soul that is involved.

I have been to horse barns all over the world. I have never experienced a facility that was this warm and welcoming. When I walked through their barn I saw horse breeds from all over the world. Stallions that are simply exquisite. Warm bloods to Mustangs. The bottom line for me is the trainers at Sage Creek embrace the teachings of Ray Hunt and the quality of dressage together as one.
