This restaurant had an amazing start, and the chef and food service was above most Pakistani restaurants in area, but lightly the service has become very selective and the buffet is not very good.

Since it's one of my favorite restaurants, I have been there several times, and their food is always so delicious!! It's a great restaurant to go to with friends and family, the service is great, and everyone is super friendly and nice 😊 I highly recommend going there😇

The food while good is extremely INCONSISTENT. I have been there and stopped going and ordering out of frustration after 2 years. They like a mostly Muslim Crowd and are somewhat cold toward westerners.
Their Goat brianni has ranged from Excellent on a occasions to down right soggy garbage reminiscent of scraping the bottom of the pot for a customer.
When busy and ordering they will outright state they will not take your order. This review is a long time in coming and in speaking to the owners they have trouble with getting enough customers and business is tight. By the attitude portrayed in this restaurant from staff to chefs i would avoid it to save frustration.
Their parking lot is mostly deserted and the glowing reviews are suspect.
Today they closed early and ahead of schedule once again. They don't care about business.response / report this review -

The staff / owner are disgustingly discourteous and lack basics in hospitality management. Food is average, and perhaps that is the reason the charges are a meager $16 per head. Regretfully I spoiled a wonderful sunny Saturday. I would prefer to visit a Wendy or McDonald any time. My strong recommendation, please don't risk to visit this stinking place (not a palace).

I want to start with saying thank you to Shahi place team they were amazing and off course their food the best part of the party. I recently hold an event at Shahi palace food was on point they recently got new chairs and they were looking beautiful with golden table cover and black napkin. It was 50th anniversay of my parents. Hall was on point everything went as planned as the owner promised us, very coporative man. Really had good time. Price was very affordable and negotiable.

Best Pakistani restaurant in NJ amazing food I have mix grill and goat karahi and chicken Bihari kabab with garlic naan. I don't even remember when was the last time I had that tasty food.

If I could give no stars, I'd still give negative stars. Attended a lunch buffet party and the food was lackluster and appalling. The food tasted like the amount of stars I'd give, nothing. The music was so low and unentertaining that the conservations about taxes and politics were more entertaining. Many people attended and expected something great. All they got was bad food and poor atmosphere. It definitely could use better food and live music. I almost walked out the door and walked down the street to the McDonalds to get something that deserves more than zero stars.
