Good simple tasty food at fair prices.
A good 4 star restaurant with a 5 star view over the beach!
Walking distance from the Waldorf Astoria if you are looking for a good non hotel food option.

New Jersey

Only one restaurant on the public beach at the part where we was. They fryer was down so they gave us lays potato chips.

We also had home made real fruit ice cream bars a young lady was selling right on the beach at $5.00 each. They were well worth it to us. We had mango, coconut , chocolate, and raspberry.

*BEST KEY LIME PIE*
Salute! on the Beach, just like its sister restaurant, Blue Heaven, have exceptional Key lime pie! We were so exhausted from snorkeling and eating a huge dinner at another restaurant so we looked up "best Key lime pie", and the Everest-sized meringue on top was what caught our eye. My partner went inside to get two slices to go and the staff was very quick and extremely accommodating by going out of their way to make sure we had forks, napkins and made sure not to squish the meringue. 5/5, we had this Key lime pie twice in 3 days time so we'll obviously be back.

Fantastic place! I would highly recommend it. The setting is gorgeous. The food is incredible.. Our server, Sam, was excellent. This is our first time to Key West, but if I ever return, I will definitely eat at Salute again.
*The next day my father realized he had left his credit card there. Sam, our server, immediately recognized him and had put his card safely aside for returning. She wouldn't even accept money for her kindness. Sam rocks.

Great restaurant in a wonderful location with gorgeous view of the beach. Service is excellent and friendly. The food is fantastic, tastes great and is beautifully presented. Scallops were sweet and fresh tasting. Would absolutely visit again and again.

We had dinner one evening. Beef tenderloin was fantastic! Real mashed potatoes and the mussels were the best we ever had. Came back for lunch the next day. Mussels were fantastic and the spaghetti with meatballs were perfect. Great music. Comfortable people and atmosphere. Next to a beautiful beach with activities and a park. Don't miss this hidden gem!!

Salute was the highlight of our Key West dining experience. The unassuming atmosphere gave no hint that we were about to embark on a culinary adventure.as the sun set and darkness drew up around us, we enjoyed appetizers and entrees so perfectly prepared that I was sorry to be leaving for home the next day Don't miss the beachside gem.you won't find any place better in the Keys.

Elegant for sunset dinner for anniversary. Get their early enjoy a sunset too. Lunch can be noisy. Inside or outside dinning ocean view and people watching too! All the servers work hard to please. We have been here many times. It is not a cheap dive in place. But worth it. Owned by same people who have world famous "Blue Heaven Restaurant. "

We are locals and went on a Tues evening around 7. We were able to get a perfect corner table by the beach within a few minutes, even though it was busy. Service was on point, my server Rita talked about the specials and asked me what kind of vodka I wanted in my bloody mary, which I appreciated because I had forgotten to specify. It was a first date, so we did take up the table longer than usual, but no pressure was put on us to leave, so I really appreciated that. We ordered the fresh fish special, and it was delicious. I am really picky about my fish, so it was a nice surprise. Although at 32 dollars per plate, I did think it was on the expensive side. However, it was a breezy, gorgeous evening (last day of Feb), and you can't beat that ambiance. The food was good, and it was a pleasant experience. Nothing negative to say. It was perfect setting for a first date. Would recommend.

I try to come for lunch at least once a week. The servers are always jamming, busy busy busy. Their attention is spot on. The host Brian works his heart out, clearing,seating cracking jokes, a keeper.
The kitchen turns out delicious food, fresh fish done uniquely. When stone crab claws are in season, get them. Best price on the island.
