Had a great experience with S&N Transmission providing a transmission repair on my wife's 2014 Subaru. Nick took his time to explain the his diagnosis (the Subaru dealership just recommended a new $7500 transmission) and his ability to find parts. The bill matched his estimate on parts, labor and timeline for the completion of the work. I would highly recommend their services if you are in the market for transmission repair or replacement.
I have been taking both my cars and trucks since day 1 with this business, they have done both regular work and custom work on my vehicles I would not take my vehicles anywhere else. They don’t try and sell you something you don’t need your vehicle! I would highly recommed them to anyone Scottie and Nick have been great to work worth
Very good service. Friendly. Would recommend to anyone, especially if you have a diesel powered vehicle.
Complete and total rip off.
Task 1: Remove a manifold stud from the top front side of the engine and replace with a bolt.
Task 2: Re-thread a rear manifold stud and put a nut on it.
The stud to be removed in the front was extremely easy to get to and the rear was mostly accessible and easy to access.
From start to finish, this took roughly an hour to and hour and a half.
Price: $211
All in all, this is an absolutely ridiculous price to pay for such an easy task. They even charged me $16 for a stainless steel bolt and a nutcomplete ripoff.
